The Indians must be getting a little nervous. I go to work and what do I see this morning the Indians having a morning practice until 8:25 A.M. So good 2 hours. Guess the school let the boys miss 1st period. 

No one thought the DOGS were going to be contenders. I guess they underestimated the HEART of the fight in these DOGS. So here we go a crazy week ending in possible District Title in play.

Still say DOGS win in a close one 24-21.

OF have you missed the last 20 years of him taking average players and getting everything out of them all the way to the playoffs. Deep playoff runs several times and OH yea 25 District wins and counting.

Yea I can remember one game not so long ago when Pearland Dawson was number 1 team in State of 4a, but little old DOGs won that one.

Sage is crucial but others ready to pull their weight. ONE TEAM.

It will be a good battle.

RaiderGirl you are a true fan and  I for one stand up and applaud you. It is tough to watch your team get beat but hey I am a Cowboys fan so seen  a lot of that myself lol.

PN-G is going to put a hurting on the  Raiders too I am afraid.

Then down the road looks like the DOGS are finding new bones to chew on.

Soulja no one is saying JAGS ran the score up but  should have been all back ups most if not all second half.

 Lumberton did a lot of that to themselves.

  I will go ahead and pick a high scoring game with offense ruling the night.

Dogs may be  a little banged up but have improved each week on both sides of the ball. They will need to win the turnover battle and control the clock. Both teams will have to try and control the other teams QB which has proven tough to do. Do like Nederland's defense a little better but got to take care of business.

Panthers have stellar offense but defense has some wholes in it. They have had trouble with the run and missing some assignments. QB is outstanding with playmakers to throw to.

Say this game comes down to which defense can make some stops and force turnovers.

 Well here we go. Two of the top teams in district face off for a shot to be district champs .

Who you got and why?

 Agree base bow speed kills. lol  Better to be good then fast. Now time to face the big cats from the other side of Beaumont with speed to burn.

The Dogs as with all teams seem to be improving week to week. Last night played good ball but have to work on a few trouble areas. One is got to shore up that run defense. D played good but to slow to react to some plays that could have helped get off the field. Offense looks to be getting better and hats off to offensive line. Dogs big problem is still turnovers and penalties, those have to stop  because the next 2 weeks will be crucial . Have to play mistake free ball against two high powered offenses. Don't get me wrong the DOGS are definitely in the hunt for another district title and could very well do it with a few less turnovers . I think Nederland likes being the under DOG each week.

Ozen on the other hand again has talent and speed but lacks discipline. Panthers QB was a handful with strength and agility. Keep playing hard Panthers still a lot of football to be played.

 Prayers for the young men from both squads that were injured last night.#3 &#10 Dogs and the big man #66 for the Panthers.

   I pray for an injury free season for all these young men who play this game, that brings all of the excitement to TEXAS H.S. FOOTBALL. GO DOGS.
