1. Well MTC if that is the case ,so is Vidor. Since everyone is 0-0 to start district. Both teams have some issues to get through like penalties and turn overs. This will be a hard fought game but neither team is the cream of the crop in district this year.  I look for some changes to be made by both teams with a few wrinkles added in. Vidor plays hard especially at home, but Nederland is still District Champs until someone else takes the Crown. Looks like that may be them Central Jags. The only thing is you never know. With all that typed I am going

NEDERLAND 24

VIDOR            21

2. I have not been on in a while and I was baffled by Mr. Sneed's comments that Coach Neumann doesn't.t care about his players. Quick story my son Brock played for Ned and would do so again in a drop of a hat. Ok to the point Brock got a severe staff infection in his left leg which required emergency surgery. You know who came to visit almost immediately Larry Neumann and Coach Lowrance. Totally unrelated to football but still cared enough to visit and even brought him a snack lol. So please talk crap somewhere else.

Now the DOGS have a lot to replace this year but they had a lot to replace last year and BOOM DCs again. So till you can beat them just watch in amazement.

BG what is the advantage to playing Memorial? Is it going to make Ned better? If PA wins then they where suppose to and if PA lost what would be your response?  Ned  was lucky! Yes PA is the big school on the block but aren't they suppose to be.

3. All I can say is they look small and slow. I mean I have seen more speed at the crawfish races. Small all the way around really like 3 defensive linemen right at 300 lbs come on it is horrible and the 4 returning starters on the offensive line look like wow is this junior high lol.  They can't catch either  but one thing is for sure they will knock the s__t out of you. So look out 20-4a they sure seem serious.
4. Well it took me awhile but I can finally talk. Some of you know that I am Brock Pryors dad and it I got the shock of my life this year. Brock received several offers to play football from full rides to partials. The family was so excited as he had put in alot of work and we had taken him all over to camps, combines and visits. He decided on some schools and aalll was  good. Then bam he comes to me and says dad I don't want to play football anymore. I think my heart stopped. He continued to explain that he loved playing for Nederland and Coach Neumann but he wanted to be able to walk and think when he was my age. Brock said I just want to go to college get a degree and go to work for one of the refineries. I sat and listened in disbelief. After talking to several people and talking it over and over and over with Brock, I finally accepted it. I am proud that he came to me face to face and was man enough to stand up for what he wants. He has made us proud . So it is good to be back.
5. Not so fast my friend. Navasota is very good no doubt. I saw them demolish WO=S but I think they would have their hand full with John Tyler, Denton Guyer and maybe even GT. Not saying they would lose but depth would be a problem. As for Katy would not be close to much talent and depth. I do believe they bring home the State Title.
6. Big shout out to all the Nederland players for their hard work in making the list. Like to give a special shout to my son Brock Pryor for making the list 3 years and 1st Team the last 2. I told you all that hard work would be worth it Mom sister and I are so very Proud of you and we Love You.. May GOD continue to Bless all these young men as they turn the page in their lives.
