I was a Stark grad and have followed WO-S sense they merged.Took my son to all the games.He finished high school and football at LCM in the late 80's.Only WO-S games I made in those days were playoff games.You will survive.lol

Big kid. His father isnt exactly "tiny" either. LOL!!! Im pretty sure hes around 180, could be a bit heavier. In my opinion, orangefield has a legitimate chance to drop the Slot T and go to more of a spread/Pistol offense with him under center. Allthough having a QB that size can make the Slot T a nightmare to defend. Especially knowing the kid is going to grow even larger.

Hmm, Ill have to ask my buddies. Ill admit, even though my kids go to Ofield(middle school), I only know a few players on the team. Im a WOS guy. Yeah, eventually ill have to come to terms with that but my oldest still has 4 more years before shes in HS. Im trying to hang on! LOL!!!

I like JT in  this one though the Cujo defense will have to stop one of the better running backs in the state.

Buna a top 10 or 15 team? last year yea maybe so.. But they lost a TON lol. Good show though!

SETX represented we in these classifications. District 9 (WOS, HJ) was #2 in 4AD2. District 10 (Jasper, Huffman, Silsbee) was #3 in 4AD1. District 12 (Kirbyville, EC) was #1 in 3AD1. District 11 (CC, Newton, Crockett) was #2 in 3AD2.

HJ losing those Seniors that made a huge impact like Padgett, etc., hurt. But also losing their HC and QB to Bridge City might be a little too much. They have some very good athletes coming back but running a new offense( Supposedly) and those losses could prove too much. I say Center just on what I have heard/read about them. Vidor is always tough. They have so much experience back it makes their vaunted Wing T or Slot T dangerous to defend. We, WOS, will get the first look at Vidor with a scrimmage in a couple weeks. So well know more then.

Your right oldschool! USUALLY that is a very deep region! Just didn't think so this year! But like you said, that's just my opinion.

I didn't see any of our kids get chippy.  We had one personal foul call and that was a late hit and that player got an earful.   Our coach does not put up with that kind of stuff. 

that's like saying if wos had scored more points they would have beat Newton. Gladewater had a dang fine team. They in the end, could POTENTIALLY be the best team we face. At the end of the day.......we are playing football and they are wishing they were.

Gilmer lowest point output is 41 twice, one against Tatum and one against Gladewater, two deep teams...........

Looking at who gilmer has played this year I really don't see WOS keeping this close. If gilmer was in 5A they go 3 to 4 rounds at least
