I actually watched the entire game after i found out about this and seen SEVERAL players that did there little celebrations after they got a sack or a tackle or something else and was not given the second look by the ref but when the leading rusher of the game does a penalty as stupid as high stepping, he gets the flag and the ejection. It is plainly obvious that the ref had something against him. im not from vidor.  not even close. Look out for central in a few years.....they have a very good freshman class (most came from Austin JH) and there some 8th grade players at M.L. King JH this year that will be special....good chance of a state run....givin they go to central and keep their grades up and keep their head on their shoulder

Learn how to read.  I said "[u][i][b]I THINK[/b][/i][/u]"  I didn't say "THEY DID".... And yes they we re competitive with ozen and central.  And the subject was about how good of a coach COACH ENGLISH is.

Yeah very bad.  English had them competitive with OZEN and Central i [u]THINK[/u] they had some years there were they beat those two teams one out of 2 times.  Even with Kendrick Perkins on the Ozen team....

Saw them against OZEN earlier in the year....was nt pretty for HF nor Ciara

anybody who can turn vidor into a winning basketball team (english) can [size=18pt][b]COACH[/b][/size]  bottom line.

She was defensive player of the year last year and i believe she won it as a sophmore as well for the district.

HJ is for real this year.  If they don't win state i will be surprised

LETS CLEAR THIS UP.  i never implied ozen recruits and im not bashing dove with my comments.  Believe me i would move my kid to a place were he or she would be able to succeed and then be able to move on to the next level.  And i know the coaches resume at HF....yes he's a good coach i never said he was bad....and fear does motivate.....but a coach can't always be negative.  I sat right behind the bench and didn't hear one positive comment.  I played for a negative coach like that in college and it motivated me and not everybody is like me and so my college team suffered cause some teammates couldn't handle the negative criticism. I sure did ruffle some feathers.....  people and their emotions. 

Whats there to explain?  Its self explanatory.  This happens at alot of schools across the nation.  Parents send their kids to schools that are gonna be more helpful in allowing them to be seen by college coaches (athletic reasons).  HF....no basketball history OZEN.....state championship....long playoff runs....sends players to colleges/nba Come on be honest.....What looks more inviting?

Male coaches of female teams are not allowed nor should they be in locker rooms of female teams. So i pose the question.....How can a female coach who is a lesbian be allowed in the locker room of her female team?

Im pullin for the Horns and im an alumni but lets be honest here HF doesn't have much talent and the Coach doesn't have a positive word to say.  NO shooters on the team...3s nor pull up jump shots.  They have one big and thats all he is, they have no true PG....he left to go to university of ozen.  The players play timid as if they re scared to make a mistake......THATS THE COACHE'S FAULT.  Its gonna be a brutal beat down when HJ and HF face off......the horns will be hornless and neutered after that game

From talks that I ve had with him, he likes/prefers the 3A and under schools.  In my opinion small town kids are usually easier to deal with .  Less attitude.

HJ at the top.  Orangefield does not have the 2nd spot wrapped up.    HF only lost 2 players (their 2 post).  With lack of size and a new coach its hard to say were HF will end up at the end of the year but i believe they will make playoffs.  HF has very good guard play.  Should win alot of games with their full court pressure.

New Coach, New system, lost 2 players to ozen.  The one big they had last year and is returning, Malveaux, terrible footwork and not a banger that you need in a big man.  He has potential, but i don't see football helping him with his footwork and i doubt he did anything in the summer to improve it.  as far as a banger well your either one or your not and he's not.  Im pulling for HF but i don't see a district championship until maybe year 2 of the coaches system. I believe the last time HF won district (back to back 97-98 and 98-99) and the only times they won district was when DeLord was there.  Sutherland is too good of a coach and silsbee always has the athletes. Good Luck HF.....I ll be supporting you.

DeLord is his last name......He coaches at Austin Middle school in beaumont..........  HF needs someone young who knows basketball and has discipline.....kinda like the wilkinson at WOS.....i thought he did well at coaching WOS

Who was the guy that was allstate that went to HF.....isn't that the same guy that was an assistant at EC and LaPorte
