1. 4 seconds is a good time frame...anything less and it would be hard to simulate deep routes etc...A kid usually does have right at 4 seconds on a 7 step drop.  As for the coaches coaching I agree its an issue but how would you suggest the UIL deal with it?? They dont have the manpower to really regulate it. I guess they are going to rely on whistle blowers?
2. Hardin is still looking for one team
3. Needing some info on Bmt. Central, ie players to watch etc. Not getting much help from the coaches, anyone who has some info please e-mail [email protected]
4. dont think Jenks or Union really want to play TX teams they havent in the past
5.

I dont believe it will backfire...I think you may see smaller crowds on Thur and Fri. morning but can you imagine the crowds Friday night and Saturday? UIL will make a KILLING
In other words your ok with killing 1a and 2a as long as the bigger schools get the recognition? That's pretty shortsighted in my opinion. Your making second class citizens out of schools that are just smaller. Do you think the players and fans are any less excited about a state title game? Your reply implies this.
I'm not saying I agree or disagree but I'm looking at it from the UIL standpoint. They are going to make quite a bit of money off this deal.

7. This will happen, UIL doesnt have to follow anyone's rules...they make em up as they go along and yes they will likely make quite a bit of money
8. This is going to be a rotation its just for next year
9. Maybe PNG's coach will get them into a SQT
10. closest thing was Birdville 70 Springtown 49 couple of years ago in the regular season..
11. I bet Dayton gets 50 and maybe pushes 60 today....problem is Sulphur might score 70
12. Sulphur does it all the time (kicking onside kicks)..did it 3 times last week
13. Sulphur has nearly 500 yards of offense in the first half...just sick offensive numbers
14. I could see Morris leaving LT is a college co-ordinator job opened up like Briles.
15. That was Rider's coaches. Pressure is key you gotta get to Rollison and get him to the ground.
16. I agree calling never hurts, worst thing that can happen is he says no
17. Sulphur dismantled a strong Everman defense with deadly accuracy. Tough to pick against them
18. I doubt Keeling leaves Everman but PNG has the traditon and backing to get a good coach. Everman is building the Taj Mahal of fieldhouses and weightrooms right now doubt he leaves before its done since it has his name on it.
19. QB Tyrik Rollison is over 4300 yards passing and 49 TDs he also has over 900 rushing yards and 11 TDs RB Ryan Young over 2000 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns WR Jace Jackson 95 rec. 1300 yards and 17 TDs
20. typical East Texas town. I think with the style of play they have they'd rather not deal with the elements if they dont have to.
21. Sulphur is the team who actually pushed for the Alamodome, their fans were happy about the Alamodome from talking to them today.
22. Ask any coach and they will tell you the obligation is to first give his team the best chance to win. Because if they don't win the community will run him off.
