yes

Alamodome is equally inconvenient, has openings Saturday and is indoors with possible bad weather Saturday it may be attractive

Don't think either Coach wants Saturday since the state game is Friday night...

Well if its NRG it would have to be 10am Saturday

Part of the issue here is both teams want to play Friday and there's a lack of sizeable neutral venues available Friday night...NRG is available Saturday but not Friday...I know Prairie View has been discussed (seats 15k) with another 2-3k SRO but PV is dragging their feet...(why I dont know it'd be a big crowd for them)....SFA has been discussed as well, but not sure how interested in hosting SFA is....I dont think SOC is against a larger stadium because Coach Todd called me this afternoon and asked for the contact at NRG Stadium...the issue is NRG won't host Friday..

hey its worked out ok...gotta roll w/the hot hand lol

Agree 10 and 8 should be flipped IMO

Two teams where I dont know if we have a good idea what to expect week to week...I think both teams operating at peak levels I give the edge to PAM

I actially like Lufkin in this one...and I bet there's a great crowd on hand for this one...

Huntsville is better than SOC at the skill spots...there's 3 big questions for them in this game 1) Can they at least match SOC's phsyicality up front on both sides of the ball? SOC is elite in the trenches this year 2) How does the freshman QB handle this moment against the best defense he's seen to date? 3) Can Huntsville play clean and not have self-inflicted wounds?

I was about to say I went to Celina's stadium last year and they definitely had an elevator

Nederland QB down for a while with an injury

its halftime 42-7

42-7 Texas High

Nederland just tried a trick play, T-High blew it up and then picked it off....they are really fast

35-7 Texas High

Nederland scores...1 yard TD run from Thomas 28-7 Texas High

Nederland in the red zone

Nederland goes for it on 4th and 2 in their own territory and they get it

End 1st Qtr 28-0

Nederland 3 and out...Texas High one play the Oregon commit hauls in a 45 yard TD Texas High 28 Nederland 0 Still 1st Qtr

21-0 Texas High

Texas High is among the most talented offensive teams I've seen this year regardless of classification

3 and out for Nederland...short punt and Texas High starts in NHS territory
