  1. plenty of owners would, your owner invested in Mallett and he was "such a horrible person" lmao. Honestly I now doubt JFF gets released, I think Pettine will get shown the door before they evaluate to keep JFF or not going into next season and that will depend on what HC they bring in.

Not so sure about "plenty".....maybe one or two that like to be in the press good or bad.

As for Mallett, I'm sure most people didn't know he was still in the league all these years. Since he wasn't out being the life of the party as a backup QB

BOB took a chance on him, he failed to be a help to the team and he was released. Such the life of a first time NFL coach. He owned up to it.

  2. in bold is facts, glad you pointed it out. JFF screwed it up? How? Did pretty good versus the Steelers. Hey but you may be onto something, like i stated before that probably pissed Pettine off even more lol…..

I could go get the press release, but I'm sure you are in the know enough that the management of the browns is behind Pettine's decision

To the bold above^ Stat wise yes, no win though....

I think when the owner invests a first round pick, millions of dollars on a person they want the face of the franchise to be something good on AND off the field. Johnny hasn't done that. He looks to be done. Even if you get your wish and he gets released(most likely) what idiot owner would give him another chance?.............oops never mind. LOL

  3. Gk2015: how many times will Hoyer get sacked or hit on Sunday before he's benched with another concussion on Sunday?  Im asking for a friend lol

    7-9!

LOL, Not sure, however the Saints have a better chance of getting to him now that your ex DC got shown the door. Even if he does get knocked out with a concussion or a broke collar bone, I have a lot of faith in the Texans coaching staff to be prepared for anything that comes their way. I mean come on!!!!!! who couldn't coach em up enough to get a win with backup players??????? It's the NFL for pete's sake, injuries happen, drug suspensions happen, domestic violence happens, gun charges happen!!!! Come on MAN!!!!!

  4. im just pointing out facts, some folks dont like facts ;)

what have you pointed out that is fact?

Maybe Pettine is trying to get out of town? Maybe he didn't want Johnny in the first place?

Johnny was given the keys to the car a couple of weeks ago to show what he was all about, Got some idle time and he screwed it up.

Mallett was given the keys in week 2, didn't work out his way, pouted, was a baby, and got released. Still unemployed, (i know, i know,...you are going to bash the Texans for having to pay him off for being a lazy bum, but IMO it was money well spent to get the chump out of town)

    Those above are fact.

  5. There are teams out there that are better than GRHS? Man, that RB must have ended up with 400+ yards. Would like to see him in burnt orange. Story of the game was GRHS o-line.

Why do we seem to get the teams that move up a classification the following year (Smithson Valley ring a bell)? GRHS had enough players to make another team.

Smithson Valley game was all I could think about last night after seeing GRHS trot their offense and defense out there. Their lines were monsters.

Congrats to the Bulldogs and good luck GRHS.

  6. @SportsCenter: Texans have claimed Brandon Weeden off waivers. (via @taniaganguli & multiple reports)

This is the hidden content, please

Lmao! Hoyer and Weeden back on the same team again lol HOUSTON BROWNS!

    7-9!

    there you go again

making fun of a transaction the Texans needed to do for an experienced QB, just in case Hoyer can't go Sunday. This is the guy your owner/gm said was a great accurate passer.

No doubt this great accurate passer will be waived as soon as Hoyer is ready, he will not be on the roster half the time he was a great accurate passer on the cowboys roster.

The "shade" you threw about TJ Yates looks pretty funny now that he led his team to a win on MNF against a previously undefeated team. It's really funny that the Texans found an unemployed back up QB, coached him up and got a win. Have the cowboys done that? No, all they have done is lose however many straight since Romo went down. Giving all cowboy fans another excuse, wait till we get healthy.

All the Manziel and Mallett jock sniffing you have been doing seems to have clouded your judgement, your team is in worse shape than the Texans. But thats ok because we have some super bowl rings. Amirite?

  7. As long as teams have better records than the Boys, then they feel ok. Kinds like the Ags and Texas.

    MEASURING STICKS?

I can see how some Texan fans would use the Cowboys as a measuring stick. I personally don't. There really isn't a rivalry between the teams, what do they play, once every four or five years in the regular season? It seems to me, the only people that are concerned about Texans and their record is the obnoxious cowboy fan( see all of Bg's posts above) I guess it could be that this is such a heavy cowboy fan forum. Last I looked, both teams have a lot of work to do to be taken seriously this year. Jmo
