Prayers to the family.... McClendon played a terrific game on Friday... This reminds us that these players, while role models to many younger children, and the topic of many of our conversations, are still teenagers, and have to deal with life like everyone else....

Don't be so sure 18-3A is one and done in all of the games, whoever gets the 3rd place team in 18-3A will have a shot.... Center has already beaten Rusk this year if it is Rusk....

And for a further point of reference, EC gets Anahuac and Buna at home.... Welcome to the post-season Bucs!!!

Have not seen a lot of Kristain Smith the last two weeks.... Jadrian Thomas is a heck of an athlete who could make some things happen with the ball in his hands.... Either way, if Mitchell is out, Central better find their running game, or teams will do just like Livingston did last night and pin their ears back and go after whoever it is under center....

I'm not sure how you game plan against PAM.... Seeing them against Central, it looked like the plan was for the Jags to try and contain Holmes.... When they focused on Holmes, Seales catches the long TD on the first play of the game.... After that, Holmes and that big OL took over a couple of drives.... That trio is better than I've watched EVER....

If I could pick NFL or NCAA games at a 75% clip I'd have a little more pocket change!!!

The boys are talented, but don't get carried away with saying he can play at any DI in the country.... He hasn't played the best teams so far....

Hervey got a couple of carries against Katy last week.... Didn't look bad, but it was very limited action....

I can't imagine Buna slowing down Newton after they gave up 60 to Hemphill.... Hemphill has one player, Newton has a few different weapons....

Gladewater has a GREAT running game and for Wills Point to shut them out it had to be one heck of a defensive game... I think it will be a close one, but don't believe for a second that Wills Point has not been impressive this year....

Smart decision to let him rest and heal up... Game against Tyler Lee means nothing, then the bye week, then a game against Baytown Sterling, where they could get by without him as well....

So far Livingston unanimous among the 19 voters, Nederland and PNG both have 18 of 19 votes, and Central is next with 11.....

If there ever were a year for Huntington to screw around and make it to the playoffs, this would be the year.... As down as Kirbyville and Diboll seem to be, Huntington has their best chance EVER to reach the playoffs..... I think it will be: Jasper Center Diboll
