I totally agree that Texas and Detroit are playing for the World Championship right now.... I just want to see the offense get it going and string something together.... As hot as some guys have been, there has not been a real consistent flow to the offense.... Let's get it done 'Stache!!!!

Game 7 scares me because anything can happen.... Plus, Detroit really has something with Doug Fister, and I don't want to see him again.... Hopefully Derek Holland can throw one of his patented shutouts on Saturday night and the Rangers can get some rest before we see St. Louis or Milwaukee next Wednesday night....

Looking at the stats, I still think EC wins the game.... I am the lone voter who ranked EC #1 in the polls....

Looks like Kirbyville back down to 2A and San Augustine down to 1A.... Both will be tough the next two years if that is true....

I like Memorial's uniform colors and scheme... I'm a big fan of white uniforms, so I really liked seeing LCM's white against Central, and also Vidor's white against Ozen....

This sounds odd to say, but the Rangers won against TB and are up 3-1 against Detroit with the offense not really clicking..... Think about it, last night without Cruz, the score is 4-3.... The other 11 inning game, without Cruz we maybe lose 3-2 because he provided 5 runs.... Michael Young, Ian Kinsler, Elvis Andrus, Josh Hamilton, Adrian Beltre.... All of those guys we are still waiting to break out in the ALCS.... I just think Detroit is deflated... And also, Verlander has not been on the hill for many innings this postseason because of all of the rain delays.... Maybe a little rusty.... Texas 6, Detroit 2

If you have heard me on the OT Scoreboard Show, or the KSET Show last Friday, or on our BISD broadcasts, you have heard me say that I wasn't a believer in Vidor, and thought they were a little over-hyped.... I'm not too much of a man to say I was wrong, and I believe this Vidor team can challenge anyone in 20-4A and make a run into late November.... Good solid offensive attack, aggressive defense, and I think Montana Quirante is, as of today, the best football player in the district for sure.... Good luck the rest of the way Vidor....

That would be a blow to North Shore since that is already their backup QB.... I like West Brook in this game because they seem to have found the running game, and the defense will step up to the challenge.... West Brook 27, North Shore 20

I was pleased to see Mike Napoli learn from past mistakes.... In the Tampa Bay series someone ran him over and he dropped the ball to allow them to score a run.... Last night, he caught the ball and put his body in position to make the tag and then get low, which is the key in that situation for the catcher.... Today is the day we clinch the second in a row!!!!!!

I thought the show did a great job of uncovering how poorly Bartman was treated then and is still treated now.... I'm glad they brought up the fact that right after Bartman interfered, Alex Gonzalez booted a routine double play ball at shortstop, and then the Cubs got hammered in Game 7, which did not include any interference from Steve Bartman.... They delved into a few other stories like Bill Buckner, and I did not know as much about that story as I thought I did... It was ironic to hear him speak a few days prior about how it was the World Series and a player's worst nightmare would be to let a ball go between their legs to lose the Series.... Great documentary by ESPN, one of their best so far....
