1. Speaking of sophomores and getting reps, what does WB have waiting in the wings over the next 2 years as far as potential D1 recruits and standouts?
2. LOL @ L Rey. Anyone making the long haul to Tyler John Tyler?
3. Great point.  Football '91 Class of '92 went 10-0 regular season...They had James Brown, but also Calvin Collins and Frank Middleton. So are you saying then we just need to accept who we are and take the good times and cherish them when they happen?  I guess... Sucks though..lol. I was part of the 92 class.  Great group.  No Lt. I didn't play, I was a soccer guy, and Bruiser (the mascot) for two years, thus my name.  So trust me I'm a fan. And hope we can get deep playoff runs and state respect again.  The last 2 years were pretty good though weren't they...felt like I could believe....I wanna believe again...Guess I'm just bummed...I'll change my name to Buzz Kill.
4. Ok I apparently upset some folks with my criticism of somethings, I apologize for that.  I have kids that live with their mom in Katy and go to Katy High School so perhaps I was a bit more angry and frustrated than I should have been. However, many of you said that it was no big deal because Katy kills us all the time.  So my question is, how does West Brook get to the point where they are the Katy and are the team no one wants to face? I know we've had some playoff runs, and district championships, but how does WB get to that point where they turn the corner and climb to the next level of recognized powerhouse?  Or, will the creation of Ozen always be the excuse/reason because of it's draining of the talent pool from WB? Just curious and hope someone knows.  Or do we just have fun and enjoy the games as much and as long into each season as we can and settle for just being what we are?
5. Well dang it, my bad....GO BRUINS!!!  I love you win or lose and if you lose I won't criticize on the forum, I will lift you up and blow smoke up anywhere it's needed...Why?  Because I support my team...that's why I go to every  home game and travel to most away games, because I'm bitter and can't stand my school....tsk tsk... Ok only positive comments from here on out....I don't want to hurt anyone's sensitive feelings....Stump for President!
6. We'll see...I hope so...Hope all of you other Stump Lovers are right and I'm totally wrong.  If so I will post a public apology and eat crow...and yes I agree the offensive line got beat up pretty good... As far as giving me the "inside scoop" on the plays, explain to me how WB scores more points during district play than they have so far in the first 4 games against not exactly the cream of the crop other than Katy. I'm interested to know why "they will be fine."  Is it because they will win or because 4 teams go to the playoffs...
7. Whether or not someone played football or at what level they played is totally irrelevant.  There have been plenty of D1 coaches and at least 1 NFL Head Coach, who never played football.  So someone's experience as a player alone does not qualify them to analyze and critique or to teach apparently. Stump, looks at one receiver the entire play.  He was tackled for how many losses by lineman who chased him down.  Sure the OL has issues as well.  However, when you are the son of a proclaimed super college QB and head coach of your team, you better be prepared to be under a microscope.  Furthermore, not once did I see Coach rant and get in his son's face, but he has no problem doing that to other players.  I notice he tends to sit alone and isn't surrounded by his recievers and RB's like most QB's in the past.  I'm just saying that there seems to be a respect/leadership issue, and I don't blame the kid.
8. I am curious as to Coach Stump's plan for the future (present) at QB at Westbrook...Is it time to start grooming an heir apparent to Reyes?  Sorry I don't want anyone to inherit from the current "protege".
9. I was there.  Katy killed WB from the get go.  Their OL pushed us around and they ran at will.  Their QB was phenomenal and made great choices for a high school QB.  Our "passer" can't seem to see more than the receiver he picks from the huddle and watches him the whole time and if he's not open he just runs.  Then the head coach gets on other players and never gets in his QB's face...hmmmm? Tonight proved it's time to start getting a QB of the future some snaps...Sorry coach, how do they say?  There is no "Son" in Team?  or something like that...
10.

Well, apparently just because a team loses to someone doesn't mean you get to beat them as well...dang PAM I heard you were good?  You guys almost got the score right...just the teams backwards.   Oh arrogance without proof is not very smart.  Probably a lack of discipline like the team.
here come the bandwagon WB fans  :D ::)
No bandwagon.  Just new last night to this site.  WB gets split into a new high school with Ozen, and rebuilds to continue the thumping of PA.  You guys combine all of your schools and still can't get it done.  Maybe PNG and Nederland will fold up their school districts and you can create the Mid-County ISD and at least make a bigger high school and make the game interesting...
Come on Bruiser, give our QB some love. Brown was a junior when I played for WB and he was a beast with his feet and arm. Landry is the only one to win a state championship.
Ok ok.  I was there when Brown played and was announcer during the Ambres years.  Too young to know Landry...sorry, but He's not the name you hear when people talk about '82.  Who would you say were the top 3 impact players of the '82 team?  Include defense and special teams.  Is Landry one?
12. Any lacrosse teams here?  Interested in starting one?
