At the end of the day who cares . I mean like i said before ,ppl should be happy this is happening in SETX . Never before has a player caused this much stir and it doesn't matter where he ends up out here just know eveyone playing against him will have an opportunity to be seen. Now what you do with it is totally up to you. Tired of these adults crying , nobody and i mean nobody would turn down 7'2 if eveything is in order....with that roll the balls and lets  hoop.....

Congratulations Mustangs on a hard fought win.  Great game until about 10 minutes left.  When WOS went up 2 scores and we didn't respond.  It looked like we may have been able to get a running game going there as it looked like the size of the Tiger online was wearing some on the WOS defensive line.  Unfortunately for us Tigers there wasn't enough time left for us to keep running.  The same was definitely the case on the other side of the ball with WOS able to run at will and eat the clock on that last to drive.  I was proud of my Tigers for the way they fought back after being down 2 scores in that first half.  In past years against WOS that's the point when we have got down on ourselves and each other.  Keep working guys and this season will be a good one. I was impressed tonight by the qb play of both teams, not many better in this area.  I will say this tonight it wasn't the defense that won it for the Mustangs it was the offense.  The Tigers struggled to stop them all night.  That last TD before the half was big.

last year Dontre was not as good a passer as he is now, Partain is a good passer. Dontre put in lots of hard work this summer and he is reaping the rewards. He is in better shape and is amuch better player

Last year, Dontre appeared to be a running back playing QB.  This year, Dontre has the complete game.  A big factor in why the Tigers are improved.

Silsbee is a gonna be a force to be wrecking with in there district..... But dont sleep on BC they're well coached and play sound football.

Just found out what happened. It certainly puts a meaningless football game into perspective.

May God bless all the kids playing Friday night. I will keep each of you in my prayers. We talk alot of smack on this board but truth be told we really have each others back when it comes right down to it. 

I have made remarks on this in the past.  It seems more effective in high school to have a stronger defense than even at other levels.  It even seems like  you should maybe load your defense with the majority of your better athletes/players.  Sure you need a good qb and a skill person at two but if that defense is really strong and limits scoring to say a couple of scores,  you have a great chance especially at this level to win at a high percentage.   Sure that's the case at higher levels as well but it's not as easy when the numbers of athletes per team is a lot more balanced.

I thought JJ's teams were better than Reeds and I thought JJ was a better QB, all around.
I, too, believe this will be no more than a 14 point difference either way. Not all Mustangs underestimate the Tigers and I can assure you the WOS coaches and players will not. That's all that matters.
The simple truth is that we've played tall receivers, but they did not have the speed the Silsbee receivers do. We've faced a better passing QB, but he was not the threat to run that Thomas is. There are match-up situations in this game that are different than anything we've seen this year.

Silsbee has some speed of its own in the backs of both sides of the ball and receivers.  I don't know if the speed on the lines will match up though.  I look for the line play to be the difference.  Yes I know that is usually the case but I feel like the skill positions may be fairly equal.
