I'm torn. I have a lot of really good friends from BH, but my cousin's oldest son is the head coach of the MW team. He was an assistant at Summer Creek for several years and this is his first head coaching job. At 31-4 and 4 rounds in the playoffs, he's set the bar pretty high for a first year coach.

They were, but before that they were pretty average with occasionally a good team.  It appears they are building a program that can be perpetually good.

Talent wise they should probably win out in district. If they lose, it might be because they beat themselves. With the talent they have, they are going to have adopt the mindset of frontrunner and play with poise and discipline. They have lacked that in the past. They will need to overcome that to take the next step and become dominant. They have the potential.

Hard to say which I liked better, the grandkid updates or football updates.

I didn't.  Someone mentioned that there were 4 short kids and a tall kid on the Katy team. That's all.

Basketball teams come in all shapes and sizes and a team with height might have an advantage,  but maybe not.
