That is true. The schools that don’t play those sports would be placed in the district their enrollment corresponds with. I am sure that amount of switching would be difficult this late and that is the reason. I just thought that would be an easy transition. Probably not. 

Couldn’t they have just used the same districts as football? I know that district schedules and non district schedules for sports have already been decided. At least for volleyball and most of basketball. What am I missing?

The Montagne Center is cheaper than WO-S new place.

He posted on Twitter that he has official visits to Kansas, Mississippi State, Colorado, and Texas A&M coming up in the next few months.

Maybe his coach is not a member or he did not submit the paperwork.  I cannot imagine another reason why he would not be on there.

Could the omission be because the coaches of FFA are not members of THSCA?

Why so much focus on how this one player is guarded and what his results are. This is a very solid team with many good pieces. If they can keep improving on different parts of their team, they can make a very deep run. Maybe even accomplish some things that no other Bobcat team has done.

Nothing special about the cut. #24 ran from the wing to the block and his defender was watching the ball and had no clue where his man was. Heads up play by the PG to see him through some traffic, but not good defense by the cougars in that situation.

So I am guessing that you go to Lumberton games pretty frequently. Have you noticed a different approach to coaching during games recently by Coach Mitchell. I have. Much more positive and coaching. I am all for coaching kids hard and holding them accountable. I am not all for calling a timeout and yelling at one kid for a minute telling him how bad of a shooter he is and he should never shoot the ball. That has happened numerous times in multiple games. That is not coaching. 

Maybe he has started doing more coaching and less berating and demeaning. That is what I have noticed anyway.

Might have something to do with the college line. Kids used to shooting a foot behind the line are shooting a foot behind the college line. Shots were short.

The coach would have to stay in that position that long.  That hasn't happened for the current coach in any of his previous positions.

Buna played well. #0 is their main threat but their two posts rebound the ball well. They aren’t big, just physical. I can’t get a read on the coach though. His antics make me scratch my head. Is he motivating his kids or just drawing the attention to himself? Any way, they played hard. Typical district ball game between the Bobcats and Cougars.
