they do but it doesnt matter....half the kids still eat bags of chips and cokes for breakfast. When a kid is good enough to play at the next level you see them come back around town Christmas after their first semester they have put on 30-40 pounds of solidness and look great...they are no longer eating crap for meals

If your up by thirty or more in the fourth don't press and play your subs and let the kids play hard. Back in the day coaches had a mutual respect for each other and would back off when the game was in hand. And that's mostly the case today. 

In my post you do not see me say anything about not playing hard.
BTW, in most of these cases there are no 12, 13 and 14 players. And in most these scenarios, those end of bench players should be in game by start of 3rd.

I hope HJ makes it to Regionals. It's hard to see 2 of their top 3 scorers are out hurt.

Talk about spoiled. I would just like to get a district win. . 

I have a set of twin nephews, one was all district in football / basketball, regional track qualifier, plays college football now. The other was like Kevin. (good kid hard worker, non complainer) He hit a shot like that on Senior night. To me that was the best night of sports ever in our family history.

If the game stays in the 62-68 point range it will be a possession game. The key to this game will be rebounding. The Hawks will need to control the boards to slow the game down. Should be a fun game to watch. The HJ Freshman defeated LCM last night to end their season at 18-0 I believe. This group plays together and shares the basketball as well as any young group I've seen . Congrats to the HJ fish on a great season !!
