If Newton doesn't have a better offensive strategy than what was displayed against EB then they might be unpleasantly surprised this week.  "Get the ball to the athlete" and out athlete everybody may have worked for pretty much all season but I don't know if that's enough anymore.

And better find it quick , they leave day after tomorrow!!

No, it didn't, and that's an integral part of my whole point. As I understand them, the facts are that the video was being taken during the game but wasn't being used during the game. Ergo, it had no effect on the outcome or on the Crosby players.

Ok so it wasn’t being used, but I guess someone thought it was ?

As I understand it, everyone has stipulated to the facts. One of PN-G's coaches had an iPad in the pressbox, which the rules clearly prohibit. That said, there is no evidence, and none of the Barbers Hill coaches have suggested, that the iPad was being used for any illicit purpose or that its presence in any way contributed to PN-G's performance in the game.

I'd appeal for no other reason than that. I fail to see how the punishment fits the crime, and ultimately it's the players that are being penalized for something that they didn't do and that didn't benefit them. I'm not familiar with what enforcement powers the UIL does and doesn't have, but it seems more appropriate to hand the coach a suspension for a game or two then to totally vacate the win. Discipline the coach, don't penalize the kids.

So what about the Crosby kids , they had nothing to do with it either, just saying coaches decision affects both schools

Never said they'd be scared to try.  Just like I'm sure neither Allen or Plano would be scared to play UT.  Or UT wouldn't be afraid to play the Texans.  Would all be a similar result, though.

To the topic at hand.  If size didn't matter then why are schools all of the sudden successful if they drop in class..or all of the sudden average if they go up in class.  Size absolutely matters.  It's not the only thing though.  For instance.. Baytown could combine all of their schools and I doubt they'd be on the same level as Allen.  There are other factors especially when talking about North Dallas schools.

I can’t argue with you on that,  Newton has been successful in 2A and 3a , and  get a few wins in 4adll , but hey it’s not the size of the animal in the fight it’s the size of fight in the animal

I know Yeoj personally and we've talked about this before.  He's talking about district play and playoff path to state.  Believe it or not, he's right.  The path to state for Newton is a lot easier than the path to state for West Brook.  I think that's what he means in weak schedule...

It’s all good , Maybe I need to follow west brook a little more and give them some support

They're good.  I've been following them.  I will root against them this week, but after that, I'll be back rooting for them...

My wife and I were just talking about going to the game this week, she’s from beaumont and told me all about the beaumont bowl, battle of the bands and such, so think we’re gonna go
