CalPreps: PAM 31. BU 19, but these are the same folk who picked Carthage to beat WO-S. Go figure.

Bridge City Cardinals rent Lamar Cardinals for one game, lose to WO-S anyway, 49-0. UIL spokesman Forrest DeWoods confirmed the fraud, "We knew something was up when West Orange was only ahead 28-0 at the half. We later found the Bridge City Cardinals hidden away in the gym airing up basketballs. This is a disgrace and will be investigated." -
Heck man you're like them guys pregame Sundays. Good read, thanks. I also agree.

That spacing is atrocious. Sorry.

I agree. Carthage has walked the walk. Their schedule and the way they've handled it borders on the ridiculous. If I was just home from an extended stay in Bulgaria and read about this my first thought would be misprint. Look for the 'Dogs to win the title, just hope the 'Stangs can make it to region finals. Right now don't see WO-S winning this game but they will knock a lung loose. Gotta worry about Jasper and those folks first.
-
Ok Hoss, cool. Tell you what, yall come on down and do the two-step with a couple of these hurricanes and we'll come on up and try some of your schedule. Chillin in that cream puff weather can may make you look better than u really are. Just saying, it's not these kids fault they didn't get to knock heads with a couple better teams.
-
Yeah but that was against Atascocita.
-
Humble starts slow, they'll come back.

Sorry, this is tad more than a headline. WO-S uses bye to hold Friday night practice: Dan Hooks stadium was filled to COVID allowable capacity Friday night as the Mustangs held a bye week practice. The workout was aired by Texas Live and KOGT as well as being the game of the week on local TV outlets. Coach Thompson says, "We've got to be ready, this region is a landmine, what with Jasper and the University of Carthage and such. Even Silsbee seems to get an attitude after district. It was strange though, the offense couldn't move on our defense and the defense couldn't stop our offense." -
Yeah you're right. I forgot about the University of Carthage.
-
Be a good chance for the coaches to scout Gilmer and Pleasant Grove this weekend.
-
Sorry I was late. Talking with my crowd noise guy. He says the broadcast was back but those guys had Liberty with a 5th and 9 from their own 12 late 3rd qtr. I don't know.
-
27-7 WO-S final per KOGT
-
Thanks that may be a blessing. Talking to a friend who lives close and getting updates via crowd noise. Actually better.
-
I beg to differ. During that four year run WOS played two Richmond Foster teams that probably hand it to Carthage on a plate. I also think 2016 WO-S beats 2016 Carthage. Correct me if I'm wrong but the polls had WO-S #1 from start to finish. I agree since Surratt (sp) its been top-heavy Carthage but in '16 and maybe '15 I give the edge to WO-S. .

Sorry folks, newsflash: All this Carthage/WO-S talk is probably moot. According to my simulated bracket Carthage loses in first round, Silsbee defeats Jasper for region III title then goes on to avenge earlier loss to Pleasant Grove for championship. So if you're not a Silsbee fan, sorry, but I ran it four times and that's how it shakes out.
