My son is 7 years old. I could care less who is coach might be or if he even plays football in high school. I am just stating the facts. If I am a coach I play the kids that lead me to a win. If I am a coach and I have a senior and a sophomore who are very close in terms of ability I am playing the sophomore. Again, I ask you to name one kid on defense that does not deserve to start and then point out why. The 2 point conversion was on the coaches.

I sat through the coaching clinic this year as I coached in the stjfl. They implement the exact same tackling techniques as the Seattle Seahawks. The ONLY thing they changed from previous years was moving from head across the front to head across the back which helps prevent head injuries. So again you have no idea what you are talking about. Who would you take off of defense and who would you put on?

Port Arthur does not have much size but they hit and don't miss tackles. We had the size to move the ball on them but once a few of our kids took some hard pops it was over. Starting TB pulled himself out. QB was running timid looking for where the hit was coming from. We had a photographer take pics of the game for us. We had kids who literally were not touching anyone. Just standing there scared to get hit. PA won't give you anything and they run a simple offense. They just execute well. I am predicting Ned White vs Bmt in the Super Bowl.

Not hardly. We want to play but were shut down by the higher ups due to insurance issues. I think it is an excellent thing to do personally and our kids were excited to play.

Good luck to the winning teams. We had 4 kids quit and 2 starters who decided after the 1st quarter they were too sick to play. PA was hitting and our 7 year olds and first year 8 year olds were taking up the slack. We played our worst game of the year but PA beat us like a drum. Teaching point...... If your DE is getting blocked down on by the slot back when engaged with the tackle and consistently getting hit in the back, DO NOT ask the ref if it is an illegal play! 15 yards and threatened to be tossed with never raising my voice or being a jerk. Just asking the question.

I honestly have a ton of respect for the Jags and although I put 42-7 as my prediction (just to flame the fire) I know in my heart it will be a close hard hitting game from Central.
