Nobody is saying the defense cannot play better. You are claiming there are better players riding the pine as if you have some kind of magic vision that allows you to think the defense would improve if only Faircloth would listen to you. Apparently Coach Faircloth looks at where you live and if you contribute to the booster club when deciding his defensive starters. Then stashes the poorer studs on the bench.

Not making an excuse. There was standing water on the sidelines. It was obvious they watered down the field. It makes a difference when you dont have longer cleats for the mud.

I am pretty sure a Crosby poster was on here saying Crosby sat 4 or 5 starters. I would be shocked if that was the case.

My son is 7 years old. I could care less who is coach might be or if he even plays football in high school. I am just stating the facts. If I am a coach I play the kids that lead me to a win. If I am a coach and I have a senior and a sophomore who are very close in terms of ability I am playing the sophomore. Again, I ask you to name one kid on defense that does not deserve to start and then point out why. The 2 point conversion was on the coaches.

I sat through the coaching clinic this year as I coached in the stjfl. They implement the exact same tackling techniques as the Seattle Seahawks. The ONLY thing they changed from previous years was moving from head across the front to head across the back which helps prevent head injuries. So again you have no idea what you are talking about. Who would you take off of defense and who would you put on?

1. Nederland wanted it more from the coaching staff down to the players. 2. Man coverage on the final 2 point conversion when they used misdirection on the previous attempt? 2. Pooch kicks when you have a kid that can put it in the end zone every kick and Nederland's deepest guy is on the 10. 3. Single coverage on #22. Makes no sense. Nederland had the smarts to double Riggs all night. 4. Completely abandoning your offensive game plan. 5. Nice field. I had no idea Hurricane Harvey moved back through this week. None of those are excuses just all point back to #1.

Also I am not sure how many games you have actually watched but #16 that plays safety is probably the best tackler on the team. You really have no clue.

I get off of here for a few days and come back to the same old crap. Port Arthur crying. Port Arthur crying more. Port Arthur cries about everything. Port Arthur does not have much size but they hit and don't miss tackles. We had the size to move the ball on them but once a few of our kids took some hard pops it was over. Starting TB pulled himself out. QB was running timid looking for where the hit was coming from. We had a photographer take pics of the game for us. We had kids who literally were not touching anyone. Just standing there scared to get hit. PA won't give you anything and they run a simple offense. They just execute well. I am predicting Ned White vs Bmt in the Super Bowl.

Not hardly. We want to play but were shut down by the higher ups due to insurance issues. I think it is an excellent thing to do personally and our kids were excited to play.
