Like i said, i was referring to thesilsbee teams of the early 90's when they had Jay Mcgwire, Stanley rhone, and cedric spearman, when silsbee was beating everybody from this area and they lost to lamarque one year in pasedena, and lost to tomball in the dome.

our senior year kids started calling it L-Town and that was in '99

Sorry to bust your bubble but silsbee hasn't ever played lamarque in the dome, so i know ur mistaken, but yes those both were great teams!Before i get a lashing i want to apologize for misunderstanding the silsbee teams were talking about. i was talking about the early 90's team

They have been that way for as long as I can remember watching them play every year in the playoffs against Texas City and so on. It comes with the territory I guess, because The head coach before this guy they have now had to deal with the same issues.

Hussey has more heart and determination than any kid i've watched play H.S. ball in a long time!! There's no arm tackling him!!!

We won't dissapoint that large crowd either!!!!

OK, maybe we're not world beaters, and noone ever said we are, why not let us enjoy this for a little while and let our guys enjoy it too. Quit telling us it's a fluke, and quit putting this cinderella label on us, our guys deserve better than that, and maybe you should give them that. You may be just a pesimistic guy I have no clue, but what i do know is that our guys aren't, they're as real as they come. Our whole community is backing these guys 100%. And if this is our 15 minutes of fame,(which I don't believe it is) let us enjoy it please.

I'm afraid there won't be that much scoring, since both teams run the ball so much, the time will be a ticking most of the game. I predict Lumberton on top 21-10.....But as long as L-Town is victorious it's all good!!!!

I don't see why they wouldn't, they get some perks, and kick backs from us using thier facility.

That's ok, 'cause our little nobody's have beaten some big big boys so were just content with that label, and were content with flying under the radar as long as we can!!! Thanks!!!

Waller's town pop is only like 3,000 so there will be plenty of room ya'll don't worry, lets focus on the team instead of the stands!!!

Guys we also need to remember The city of Waller is only like 3,000 people anyhow, so how many are actually going to go besides those say 3,000???? We'll have more than enough room even if we have to sit on the home side, i know i won't mind.

I'm thinking probably closer to 8 than 6. Heck, we had 5,800 at the Smiley game.
