I got over 35 pages as the over/under on this board.  I think every point that could be made that could be made.  Not sure who is gonna win and 28 pages later I don't think were any closer to knowing.  I do know this is gonna be one of the best games in the state this week

Congrats to both young men. 

Even with the expectations and rankings it still feels like were the underdogs.  Which is just fine.  I know that no matter what this team is gonna show up and give their all.  I'm ready the Mustang fans are ready.  Let's just get this thing on tomorrow.  The next three days are gonna be tough to wait out. 

Acually they have some talent there.  They just need the right coach.  It is a very small town. 

Same probably goes for W-OS on here. 

I really don't think you can predict a score.  The reason why is you can't factor heart and determination.  Only the kids can do that.  This has got to be the game of the week at any level.  Should be lots of coverage from Houston.  Someone should call foxsports and tell them this is the DQ big game of the week.

[/quote]This about like two years ago when we played W-OS in the first round.  We didn't have a chance.  Their was no possible way we could beat them.  Well we did.  Since then we have gone all the way to state.  Still no respect.  We can disect this game anyway that we want to but it is all gonna come down to the kids on the field and what they do.  I really believe both teams are evenly matched.  If you talk about that all we do is run and W-OS can stop the run then you got something coming.  That was probably all we did two years ago when we beat y'all.  We have been beating teams all year with the run.  Yeah Alfred had four picks last week.  That does not mean we cannot absolutely throw it if need be.  I'm truly ready for this one.  Usually the best teams don't always get the chance to meet up and play.  This year though the two best teams in region three we meet up and get to play.

That should be a very good one.  Crockett is very explosive.  They scored 20 on our defense this year and that is the most any one team has scored on us. 

I'm super excited this game has come to fruition.  The fact is that W-OS struggled early in the year offensively against some very good teams and lost.  We have struggled offensively here lately and won.  I think it is the heart of a champion driving the Trojans.  We have found ways to score and come away with a win.  Whether it be on offense, defense, or special teams.  That is how championship teams win.  They just find a way.  Everything is not cut and dry.  I do believe that W-OS had the easier side of the bracket with Cleveland, Columbus, and Bullard.  We have had the tougher side with some very good teams including one from ya'lls on district who played ya'll very tough.  We can compare anything and everything that ya want.  The fact is that this is gonna come down to who wants it more and plays the most mistake free football.  I love our chances of beating ya'll because I know how much these guys want this.  They left a bad taste in their mouth after last years title game loss.  We are on a mission.  That mission is getting back to Dallas and winning it all.  The same could be said for W-OS.  I missed all the previous meetings between us.  I wont be missing this one.  Hopefully we can tie up the series and keep on rolling.  Good luck to both teams.

W-OS- 14

3 time defending 3A state champ Carthage goes down in double over time 35-34 to Argyle.  The Bulldogs lose on a missed extra point in overtime that hit the upright.  So there will be a new champion in division 2 this year in 3A.

Someone call BULLARD and tell them to forfeit right now so we can get the Mighty Mustangs next week.  Where yall want to play at?  It aint gonna be know fun with Bullard.  No crap talking for the week leading up to the game, and no crow dinner for one team at the end.  I'm hoping the Mustang fans like crow quite well.  Cause if yall lose to us.  Yall are gonna get a huge helping. 

It is no secret we have struggled offensively.  The fact is though we keep winning.  Yeah there was some hype, but we are getting challenged.  Many teams know how far we went last year and that put a target on our backs.  What kinda target y'all got?  Also I think y'all beat Bridge City by less than 7 so don't go their about our score against them.  We both know they are a good team.  Lorena may not have had a great record, but they played in a tough district. 

Well guess what y'all take care of business tomorrow and well meet up next week to show ya.

I wish we would quit trying to throw the ball.  We really suck at that tonight.  I think that was the fourth pick tonight.  We are really letting Lorena hang around.  We should be up by much more.

The Trojans flexing their muscles a little in the first half.  Keep it going Trojans in the second half.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I had a coach that used to tell us if your playing football at thanksgiving you're pretty good.  If you're playing in December you're really good.  If you're playing at Christmas your great.  I hope all the area teams make it to Christmas.  We are thankful for all of ya.  I would also like to thank the troops. 

I absolutely agree.  I think those two games have improved us tremendously.  I think this game were going to be able to open it up a little more.  I don't know why, but I just think a matchup with WOS is inevitable.  I really one to see this match up of the areas top two teams.  Plus the last three match ups I have not been able to make it to, but this one I should be able to make if both teams make it.  I just don't feel like Lorena is a team as strong as Bellville or Bridge City.  Especially defensively. 

Well I think we will prove ya wrong Kicker.  I have been on here for four years and I remember how the WOS people talked to me those first few years when we played y'all and lost.  So please don't tell us about how were way off for talking about our team.  Many of y'alls fans would talk about how no one could beat y'all.  I don't think the Trojan fans are like that.  We could get beat and it could be this week.  I don't think it will and neither do many of the Trojan fans.  As many of you don't believe your team is gonna get beat.  I'm looking forward to a matchup with y'all.  It will be the first time outside of the first round.  Where both district champions meet. 

I think some more information has to come out before a conclusion can be made.  I do think they should be excluded if charged with a crime.  Obviously there is enough evidence if they are charged.  I can't imagine how the kids that got beat up must feel. 

That field goal attempt was very impressive.  Before the kick I was thinking really were gonna try a 42 yarder.  Most of the time we can't even get the extra point.  If he had been a yard or two closer it would have been good.  Hats off to Bellville also.  That was a very good team and we were fortunate to make it out with a win. 

I think the defense is gonna take us to Dallas and the offense will eventually get us going.  I think this will be another tough game.  No doubt these first two games have helped us tremendously learn some things about ourselves and improve at the same time. We are very fortunate to get past those two.  I'm really looking forward to a matchup against WOS if we can get past Lorena.  I'm like most around here.  I just don't understand all the negativity from so many against us.  I root for all the area teams including the Mustangs.

Time and place has not been set yet.  I heard them say Brenham, but would much rather see it at Kyle field.  Who ya got in this one? I think the Trojans can get this one.  Our defense is going to carry us as far as we can.  Hopefully the offense will wake up.  Should not be a better defense than we have faced the last two weeks.  I think we will be meeting up with WOS if they can get past Bullard.

Great post.  I hope so because it is not the same without Kirbyville up their with the rest of us.
