What has happened to Allen?  They beat South Lake to open the season in that huge stadium and then they suck.  Longview is surprising.  Not sure what is going on.  Is that a district game?

Hmmmm...I wouldnt call 4-0 going into tonight's game "sucking"... In addition, Coppell is 4-0 also and beat Longview 41-8 this season

So, maybe a little research before we just start posting nonsense

Yeah they beat the beat the brakes off South Lake and then played some other teams and now they are losing to Coppel who normaly has good teams 23-0. I would expect. Better game mister research.  Thanks for informing me though.

Shepherd's O line is not very big but they play hard just like the rest of the team. Let's face it Shepherd needs a few years to build a better contending team. But right now these boys are having fun and seem to be getting better. Again Coldspring should win this game by a ton, being a ranked team. All I am saying is Shepherd will not lay down and if the wrong team shows up for Coldspring then it will be closer. But if the right team shows up for Coldspring then Shepherd would have to play a nearly perfect game just to stay with them. But all the pressure is on Coldspring not Shepherd it does wonders to be able to play loose and have fun. With all the talk about getting back to Dallas and all, Coldspring better hope the right team shows up. I know a bunch of good people from Coldspring but the attitude over there about Shepherd is "it is Shepherd and be beat the crap out of them every year, so this should be easy" but I would not sleep on them.

I agree.

Texaggies07, did you watch the Sherpherd vs Diboll game? Cause if so then you watched a totally different game then I did. Shepherd ran on Diboll at will in the second half. I will agree that Coldspring better win this game by a ton or my how the haters will show up. Even if it ends up being close. We all know that Shepherd is getting better with every snap but at the same time Coldspring is still the team to beat in 22-3A. Coldspring has to many horses for Shepherd this year. But I think the score will be closer that most think it will.

yeah I did watch some film on them.  They spread it out and the QB is pretty athletic and the running back is pretty quick also.  They did run it well with some lanes, but the offensive line is not impressive at all.  Some poor tackling by Diboll as well helped out.  Also short fields to play on helped.
4. If you dont get up for this game no matter how good Shepherd is then you should not be playing football.  I agree as many as we want.  There offensive line is not very big and they got tossed around by Diboll a little.  Our Defensive line is much bigger and more physical.  I dont think they will score.  Our offense should be able to roll over them.  Still this is a rivalry game.  I hate that we lost to them the one time in 2005.
5. I Think the top three look like this.

Coldspring
Huffman
Cleveland

I have not seen anything to change my mind on this.  I have see some better play out of some of the other district teams though.  I was a little shocked that Shepherd beat Diboll.  Also Tarkington has won a few games this year.  I dont know what is going on in Liberty.  They have completely fallen off.

7. I think Silsbee will give WO-S a run for there money.  They got some athletes on offense.  There defense is not as good, but they can play also.  So for undefeated maybe.  Also like many have said Region 3 has to be the toughest in the State this year.  I can think of 3 other schools that would have something to say about it.  I do believe whoever comes out of Region 3 will win the title.  Good luck the rest of the way.

LCM played a great game.  Congrats to the bears.
As for the Trojans, they will be fine.  Don't give up on them just yet.  Hey, the passing game seemed to be better last night than at any time this year.  Two TD passes.  The fumbles are eating us alive, and the penalties last night were a killer.
It does amaze me though how fast people can turn on their team when things don't go as planned.  If you don't want to be a Trojan fan this year because they lost 2 games, fine.  That will make more room in our tiny bleachers at the 3 home games.  This loss was a let down, but it is not the end of the season.  They have played an extremely tough pre-district schedule and lost a couple.  Oh well, I guess we should fire the coaching staff and forfeit the rest of the games.  :-[ :-[  Yes they need to do a better job holding onto the ball, and maybe every play call wasn't perfect, but when they go deep into the playoffs, don't come crawling back talking about how great Barbay is and the great blocking, tackling, or running backs.
Once again I dont think I'm going against anyone.  I'm just simply stating what needs to get fixed.  Right now this team is a bunch of individuals playing and not a team.  Our offensive line play has been terrible.  So many missed blocks.  It is really unreal.  We have to get tougher and the penalties and fumbles are a huge problem.  At times this team has no heart.  As for the defense they are missing tackles.  Most of it is late in the game because they are getting wore out from being on the field for so long.  If they dont fix some of these problems it is not gonna be a deep playoff run it is gonna be a very short playoff run.
9. I would like to say congratulations to LC-M.  Those kids came out and played hard.  They deserved to win this game.  Our team has no heart what so ever at times this year.  We are way too undid plonked and make far too many mistakes.  If we continue to play like this Shepherd might beat us and this just makes me sick to my stomach to think about.  The captains of this team needs to call a meeting and fix his.
