Since WOS plays on Friday I will be there to watch my old Bucs play.

I'm all for the Butch or Lumberton. I do not want Lamar. There is no reason to put peoples lives in peril driving on the road at night more than needed. Keep it local.

The amount of hours all these coaches put in,if you looked at an hourly pay it would be low. They deserve every penny they get. Bill Belichick could come to some of these schools and it still would not matter. Talent, off season and preparation are the keys to being a successful program in any sport.

It was actually a Beaumont Referee Crew that called the game, not the Houston Chapter that does the local 5A's. I know two of the guys very well including the white hat, talked to them before the game in the dressing room, there was absolutely nothing but honest officiating last night.

Coaches had the opportunity to provide a list of their players. I am pretty sure all that were nominated were on a team. Some coaches do not provide TASO Beaumont Umpires with a list. It is more of a fun raiser for the scholarship fund.

For a team to reach the region finals, there should be someone worthy. Just Sayin

On the 3A state team, no Kirbyville players and No Grayson Rodriguez who only went in the first round of the MLB draft????

WTG Great accomplishment!!

He coached at Ozen before when it first opened as assistant baseball coach. His dad was a long time trainer at Central before retirement. I wouldn't call him an outsider.
