Hardin has a hard time getting kids to show up for summer workouts. They lost a lot of kids from a 3-7 team so it's difficult seeing them winning much. Coach Stark is a good hire but he needs support from a not so supportive school board. 

You never know the UIL does weird things.

If Hamshire plays some defense this year and they have some players that can step up on offense they have a chance to finish second and possibly get a playoff win . Their last playoff win was in 1996 which ironically enough was their last outright district title for the school. Also this year marks the 40th anniversary of the schools deepest playoff appearence and the  only qtr finals victory against. #1 ranked cameron yoe . They would loose to eventual state champs Lagrange 20-14 . Lets hope they can do something on this anniversary,  i dont see 13-1 but we can always hope . Lol !!

Why not Coach ANTHONY Boutte...do you care to explain or enter a debate with me against 5 years of experience in public school education(ALL 5 years at 6A programs; 2 years at PAMHS, 2 years at Desoto High School in which they lost in the state semi-finals, and going into his 2nd year at Spring Dekaney High School)...let's not forget, he coached under 2 state championship winning coaches in Terrell Henderson/Chris Dyer, and a state finalist coach in Travis Williams...the way he has DOMINATED freshman basketball on the "6A LEVEL" is UNFAIR to his competitors to say the LEAST!!! He's very INTELLIGENT, always has been since he was a STUDENT-athlete(National Honor Society, Magna Cum Lade Graduate & 2 sport athlete in high school where he did nothing but WIN, beat Brian English by 40 points his junior and senior year...I put that out there for the Brian English fans, great coach however, understand he is like 3-27 ALLTIME vs Boutte Sr. and the one year he did beat Ozen and Central, OZEN was in the regional tourney while VIdor was in the montage center watching)<- SO PLEASE stop claiming Brian English as the Coach K or Bo Ryan of Texas High School Basketball, he has NO EXPERIENCE in the REGIONAL tourney & he had a 6'8" Division 1 player in 2004 with a good supporting crew and the best he did was the 2nd Round of the playoffs, do your research on Brian English PLEASE. He is the SON OF LEGENDARY ANDRE BOUTTE SR. with the ability to reach out to coaches that he has built close relationships with like HALL OF FAME COACH JAMES GAMBLE for any situation YOU feel he is not ready for...get off LITTLE BOUTTE's back, he's only your NEPHEW that you do nothing but speak NEGATIVE about EVERYTIME he is mentioned; he's only 26 years of age, a GREAT FATHER, something that MOST MEN BOTH YOUNG AND OLDER MEN LACK; Coach ANTHONY Boutte is not perfect by no means, HOWEVER, he's a perfect hire for this job and when he does get opportunity WHEREVER it may be because he will get an opportunity here soon even if it is off the legacy his father built...He will make a GREAT COACH & EVERYONE THAT KNOWS HIM LIKE YOU DO, KNOWS ALL OF THESE THINGS AS WELL.  In closing, he has a MASTER's degree in EDUCATION with PRINCIPAL CERTIFICATION...therefore YOU may feel like he is not ready BUT he is DEFINITELY QUALIFIED for the position according to the TEXAS EDUCATION AGENCY, & many people like YOURSELF can not say the same!!! English is good don't get me wrong, but it's a different environment at Beaumont Central. 

I met Coach Thompson before he seems like a great person. It's always going to be negative people reguardless of the circumstances. West Orange-Stark should of won state last season and people are still giving him a hard time. Sterling-Cole left and Jack Dallas did a great job of filling in. Thompson will always find someone to fill in each slot.

The firing of Lynn Graves was ridiculous. Graves also was head coach on the collegiate level at SFA.

That is Daisetta for you. I wonder why HD never schedule a track meet at Alto or teams they will meet at Regionals? Maybe because they will show them up.

I forgot Shepherd is so almighty. Please give me a break. Those athletes in Coldspring are not bad at all. Academically they are capable of doing great in the classroom. I think it's you that needs a wake up call.

Claude Tarver was a great coach. Back in the 90's HF was tough as nails.
