Congrats to Coach DeCello and Coach Herman and all the HD girls as they captured the District Championship yesterday by defeating Deweyville 80-33! This was a make up game, the original game was suppose to have happened on the 26th. Undefeated district champs! HD Nation! Now, we have more news about our first playoff game on Thursday. See Below. Thank you Sir. HD girls are undefeated in District. Should win a playoff game or two. Funny thing it’s all Freshman LOL. Who would have thought it.

Boys looking good, almost as good as the girls, both teams should win District. HD boys have been without 6’4 Dawson Victorian, one of the top players. Hopefully he will be back soon. HD girls and boys may have a shot at being ranked soon on here.

Yes sir, y’all had Evadale winning in the results. Tonight HD girls beat WH 83-14. Looks like HD girls and boys could both win District. This new head coach HD has on the girls, coached in the WNBA, coached Cheryl Swoopes, guy has changed both the girls and boys basketball cultures.

Former #13 on the small school rankings Deweyville, lost to Sabine Pass 45-38. Sabine Pass lost to Hull-Daisetta 61-45. Maybe time to start seeing HD on the rankings, and stop the Deweyville votes... HD looks to possibly be the District champ.

Hull-Daisetta 70 High Island 0 Hull coaches finally put in a full game against Burkeville, da Bobcats coaches let da kids finish out a game. Usually da dogs have been called off way early, way to much basic offense this season. Hull may be ready to upset West Sabine in da playoffs, Hull got some studs.

Have da Evasmell mafia learned to bottle up and drank da smell! Dem folks are full of papermill malarkey! HD coaches still haven't put it all together, imagine is Barbay, Copeland or Finney had all this young talent. HD is winning on talent alone for now, da offense has no complexity at all, no misdirection, no counters and definitely no trick plays, no deep passes most of the time, very basic. Broussard, Victorian and Aguirre are top dawgs! HD and these underclassman may just win a playoff game way before they are suppose to, if da coaches wake up.

Well da cats pulled it out. Evadale had some big'ens on da line. HD really won da game on talent alone, not da coaching. Just seems like the HC don't have da no how to finish teams off, way to conservative of a play caller, he needs to remember points count, especially if Evadale upsets DV next week. HD didn't give da ball to either Lamar Jackson look a likes #3 and #2, in the 4th quarter, not one time, if so da score would have been in da 30's, they did dive plays to run clock all 4th quarter. If HD gonna win a playoff game, da offense got to evolve, I did notice ole Corona and 55 got their wish, the big 3 on the field at the same time. There is no reason to ever have your best player on the sideline, just building club houses. No brainer, make da defense worry a little, keep #3 and #2 on the field at the same time, maybe put #3 out wide, he only 6'4 and fast, maybe a reverse sometimes or a streak.

It was very hard to watch a man target kids. I agree with Corona and 55, it was unbelievable, what was witnessed. Deweyville has a darn good team, but if da white hat was professional and unbiased HD wins. You play that game 10 times with neutral refs, HD wins 7 of the 10, especially with da Broussard kid playing. The ref was actually using hand and head gestures to the HD loud fans, as he threw the flags. I was in disbelief this type a thing could happen in 2020... Wonder if da white hat just hated Hodges or someone on da HD staff, hopefully not hating on the kids HD has on da team. Heard da head ref is being investigated, the 1,000 yards of penalties protested, and the Broussard ejection. Boy would I love to see these 2 play one mo time.

If that is the case, and it maybe, then HD edges out WH 20-6. Broussard and Victorian are da playmakers on offense. I really like Sellers on defense, kid is an athlete. Would like Sellers and Aguirre on da line or TE’s.

Not sure Sellers starts, maybe starts, but Broussard could surpass him on da snaps. Sellers is a defensive stud, he will for sure help da defense.
