  1. Starting WR at Liberty. They use him at WR and RB. His 1st game rushed for over 150 yards and 2 TD’s.
  2. Brother, Hardin and HD is one of the oldest rivalries in the state of Texas, goes back to the 1930’s. He is right, Hardin and HD were in district together all way up through the early 90’s.
  3. I seen at least 40 plus kids on the sideline for Kountze.
  4. Now another team 2 classifications bigger than HD comes to town Friday night, in the Warren Warriors. Per Texas UIL, they are two classifications larger, compared to HD which is 2A D-2, next you have 2A D-1, then 3A D-2, which is what Warren is… Warren put a whooping on Hardin, so HD by the numbers should get whooped, Warren has 350 kids in 9th-12th grade, HD has 104 kids 9-12. But could there be another upset…? HD is a small, young team, but have come together it appears so far this season.
  5. If you don’t think being a bigger classification matters, you have no idea about sports or talent. More studs to choose from is a big deal. If a school like Kountze with 330 kids, plays a school with 104 kids like HD, it’s a huge advantage! It’s common sense…
  6. Take a breathe pal, you really put a lot of energy into this post lol. It must really bother you, HD must have tore that booty up in the past, or you a Lions fan. You are the same clown that would be dogging HD if they lost to the Lions. Get over yourself partner, maybe try just congratulating a small school with an upset win, then move on, for you it would be to the tennis forums, lmao. SMH, some Karen’s…
  7. Yeah, I think HD has like 5 Seniors and 4 Juniors playing. It’s scary low numbers, the new enrollment was 104, in 9-12th grades.
  8. It’s not accurate. 13 players make up our varsity, Coach bird moved our JV up to the game. 24 total players in our whole school lol, we have a JV and a varsity, barely and maybe not after grades comes out or injuries, God forbid.
  9. Lol. Go back and read, we have 13 upper-classman on Varsity, the others were our JV kids. Coach Bird has had to move over the 2 varsity backups players each week, to have enough for a JV scrimmages and a game.
  10. HD was the only team that won in our local area Friday night! Liberty, Hardin, Dayton, Barbers Hill and Anahuac all lost.
  11. Apparently you can’t read, you are right, Kountze is not Katy, although for the smallest enrollment 2A team to beat a 3A playoff team from last year, Kountze went 7-4, pretty impressive, especially with HD having 13 players on varsity. HD high school currently has like 104 kids 9-12. You should be more concerned with Warren beating the brakes off of Hardin last night, last I checked Warren isn’t Katy either lol. Y’all would be tearing HD apart if they lost to the bigger 3A…
  12. It does say a lot about the good job the coaches are doing at HD, they did lose two all-district RB’s and secondary players in last two seasons, their top two players, Devante Broussard and Dawson Victorian. And let’s not leave out HD’s starting senior QB Landon Sellers of last 3 seasons, did not play this year due to a medical issue. HD is not gonna win the super bowl, but Bird has them doing the little things.
  13. HD come to fight! HD shocked me tonight! Great game coaches and players! HD upsets the bigger 3A, 22-12. HD as of today, was the smallest enrollment in the state in 2A per Coach Birdwell. Awesome win Bobcats! Very young team with potential!
  14. Not sure what is 4 horse, but HD looks good, good o-line, fast RB and haus DE. Kountze looks huge and has athletes.
  15. HD looking tough vs the 3A playoff team from last year, 22-6 HD up in 3rd, 6 minutes left. HD has a very young team, mostly under class-man, very impressive! Kountze athletes are way bigger.
  16. Lol, SMH, with his 1st carry last night vs Bay City, Victorian goes 70 yards for a TD in his 4A Debut! He also broke open another long TD and rushed for over 150 yards! Great prediction Herbstreet! The comment letting kids leave to neighboring big schools: It’s easy to just give up on kids, it’s harder to invest and coach them. Also, the Victorian kid never was a terrible kid, HD had way worse in last few years. Over the years HD has lost some good athletes to dumb/lazy coaching decisions, and I’m not talking about on the field decisions. You can’t be a coach that just says oh well, go! Look at the Josh Finney’s and apparently the Baytown and Liberty coaches, both got kids that will play college ball. Devante Broussard and Dawson Victorian, former HD Bobcats, look them up and follow both, they are exciting to watch.
  17. If HD stays political with coaches kids starting over players with more talent, HD will have a terrible season. The QB position for HD is all favoritism, there are 3-4 better options at QB for HD, but Wallace’s kid will start, Birdwell won’t ruffle feathers with his staff. Also, they keep letting athletes like Devante Broussard and now Dawson Victorian leave to Liberty and Baytown, FYI both kids will excel for these bigger schools, Devante did last year. If HD replaces the Wallace kid at QB, they win 3 more games, at this point every team that plays HD, they put 11 in the box lol.
  18. We is referring to the UIL/TASO finding of tampering with last year's head ref, in the HD at DV game. The head ref threw all 25 flags on HD by himself, only 4 flags were thrown on DV, also the same head ref tossed HD's top player RB Broussard out of the game abruptly, in the early 1st quarter, for allegedly cursing him, later film showed he under hand tossed the ball to the ref, nothing else. Not to mention the hurricane had knocked out DV's lights and flooded the stadium, they refused to play the game at HD, during the game DV had light plants put up, none of the light plants worked on the HD side, it was dark as heck lol, DV's side was lit up well. HD had 2 TD's called back in the game on penalties. DV won by 8 points, the most biased game I've ever seen, was crazy, word is the other refs calling the game, were very upset with the head ref.
  19. The Bobcats have recently gotten healthy and won 2 games in a row, after being without several key starters all season. Deweyville has had a rough go at it recently, this game will definitely be a little chippy after last years controversy. HD’s Coach Birdwell will look to get both stud RB’s Victorian and Loften on the field together more often, to pressure defenses. With seasoned starter and dual threat QB Landyn Sellers finally back healthy, coupled with the o-line being healthy and dominating, HD could possibly make a run at the District title once again.
  20. Bound to happen, BV got excited after playing two terrible programs.
