Hardin get's off easy Friday, HD's starting QB and FB still not playing. Sellers and Loften both 1st team All-District players.

Yep, sounds like 3 more weeks of skill players out, until HD takes off. They will be ok in District.

Bubba, have you watched any football lol? You can see when a team has no energy and lacks effort, HD was not that attacking and energized team it has been in the past... Could have been the Wednesday injury to the starting QB and the lineman injury same day at practice, took the air out of them.... But they definitely came out flat and played a Somerville playoff team.

You always pick against HD, at least you are consistent lol. All them HD butt whoopings lol

Well, a banged up HD heads into Hardin on their homecoming. HD has been without their starting QB, FB and a few lineman for a few weeks now, not good anytime, especially when playing bigger schools with depth like Hardin (3A D-1). HD came out flat vs a really good team in Somerville, it wasn't pretty. HD can only improve from the dismal showing, that lacked energy, effort and grit. Hardin 32 HD 12 (if HD plays like last week....) Hope HD wins!

Somerville had huge lineman, and some horses, they are a playoff team this year. HD gotta get tuff, some grit, some passion! It baffled everyone why Dawson was not featured at QB or Wildcat at all… The young backup QB had a tough night, the O-line got beat up. HD coaches gotta lot of evaluations to do, lots of getting the right kids on the field…

I will say, HD fought the 2nd half. 38-10 final.

HD getting killed. No aggression, energy or emotion at all, players or coaches. Embarrassing! Yes Somerville has some horses, but HD looks bad. 31-0 with 2 minutes left in half. Oh, yes HD is missing their starting QB, FB and 2 OL players, they didn’t suit up. But I don’t think it makes a difference tonight. Maybe the worst line play I’ve seen at HD in decades.

Ole Warriors, I grew up playing them, played against Shane Moses, now a State Trooper there. Good luck to the Warriors, my cousins are the Curr's, Danny and Davie.

1-1, both teams scored. Colmesneil did look good, was shocking. HD was missing a few key starters. I’ll say one thing, Cody Day is very passionate, very knowledgeable Coach. I was impressed, but kinda shocked how much of his offense he showed vs HD in the scrimmage last week. Colmesneil basically played the scrimmage like it was the 1st District game, they pulled out all the stops lol, misdirection, trick plays, bombs, blitzing, multiple formations etc. I haven’t ever seen a Coach that aggressive in a scrimmage, Coach Day even stopped the scrimmage and walked to mid field, and told the refs there were scouts filming in the stands, it was just HD fans lol. I think Coach Birdwell was a little caught off guard by the atmosphere, gotta tip your hat, Colmesneil it ready to play! Coach Day was even walking behind the HD offense and calling out the plays lol.

That's not good, HD has just about always won or competed for a District title, can't say much else lol.

Problem is Kountze always has athletes, just can't ever put it together on the football field. They will be fine in basketball season, not ever a football school.

That explains your disgruntled trolling of HD lol, took lots of earse whoopings from dem Bobcats over the years. Probably an Oiler lol. I will say Kountze looked really good in the scrimmage I watched. They got some good athletes, some size and one RB looked pretty impressive.
