Just heard HD has 2 starters out this game. Ole Bobcats better get da ball to da Broussard and Victorian kids. Move some dem big ole boys to da line. Da regular QB looks like a guard, the FB looks like a o- tackle. WH may upset if HD don’t change some things.

These 2 teams been playing each other for ever, one of the biggest rivals in SETX. If HD loses to Hardin and WH in the same season, man it won’t be good. I agree with ole big mouth HD Bobcat55, them Hull coaches got to put some of them big fellers on the line, the big QB and FB are huge. I like the #3 and #2, both dem boys look like Lamar Jackson.

HD is taking on another 3A opponent this week. It will benefit them in District. HD has to move some of its athletes to the offensive line, it will benefit the two studs they have in Broussard and D. Victorian. Both those kids have track speed.

Nope, these Sophomores are the kids from that 8th grade class that was blowing out teams. All the skill players are now Sophomores, their parents played at HD in late 90’s.

HD, stop trying to be cute and fancy. Put your best kids on the field where it gives you the best chance to win. If it means a kid Is a lineman instead of TE fine. A TE instead of a WR or QB, oh well. It’s 2A D2 ball. Don’t try to spread it around and make everyone happy. Feed your horses and the backup horses will probably be adequate linemen even if they’re undersized or never played there before. I’d have Aguirre at tackle and Landon sellers and cayden weeks at TE spots. Let’s roll with Devante Broussard at QB and get the ball in Dawson Victorian’s hands, those two players are elite talents.

Dang tough District HD was in, sucked to have to play these two brutes.

HD was outscored 428-142, outscored by 286 points... HD lost to West Hardin 38-12, D-ville 56-14 and West Sabine 44-20, in just those 3 games vs schools of similar size and competition, HD was outscored 138-46, outscored by 92 points... If you were to have watched the team last year and this year, you would have seen a total 360 in culture... No issue with HD getting blown out by a school record, 83-0 to powerhouse San Augustine, but like a many other alumnus have stated, to not just be able to win vs WH, D-ville and WS, much less not even be able to compete, is totally unacceptable...

Most know HD went through a historic, record breaking, terribly embarrassing season. The head coach chose to step down from his duties, to pursue a solely Athletic Director position, all right before the 1st game of the season... The HC handed the reins over to his defensive coordinator and then it began... Yes, HD was in one of the toughest Districts in Texas, yes the team is very young, starting many freshman this season. The straw that broke the camel's back, was HD getting blown out by teams of similar size and talent, in West Hardin, Deweyville and West Sabine. Frankly it appeared the team was not prepared and not set up for success. One thing the community is in agreeance on in moving forward, is the new HDISD Superintendent has high expectations and will hold people accountable. The culture at HD is under attack and some adjustments must be made... Yes, HD will more than likely go back to their historical D-2 status, were they will compete better, but let's not lose sight of the need to improve and upgrade when needed. I'm sure the applicant line will be long, to have a chance at rejuvenating the once dominant program.

Congrats West Hardin... Yall earned it... WH has a good experienced team. HD has a very young team and coaching staff.... The future is bright at HD, right now though, to many freshman starting, coupled with a rookie "Head Coach", spells learning curves... WH put a butt whooping on us, I tip my hat. It's frustrating to see #12 Kole Frauenberger, hands down not just HD's best player, but one of the best players in district, only get about 7-8 carries total. And those carries came after half time, when we were behind... Frauenberger should never get less than 20 carries, kid averages good yardage per carry. Then to see HD needing 1 yard on 4th down, and we call some fancy pivot counter QB keeper, for no gain... Man the crowd went nuts on that crazy play call.

WH always running gums, then after playing HD, we just hear crickets, and yall's fans have left the stadium by the 3rd quarter. Yall get beat by these freshman, it's gonna be embarrassing lmao, but it's about to happen.

So there goes your made up theory... Alto went on to make deep playoff runs both years.

HD was back to back undefeated District champs, both years Finney was there. HD was Districts champs as you mention,under Hodges as well a few seasons ago in D-2.

You are correct 43 wins is no longer the national record, HD set it a long time ago, it has been broken a few times since.... HD's national record, I believe was broken long ago by Celina.... This season will be a tough year with these starting freshman in this elite district.

It really makes you look kinda ignorant though, when calling teams like HD slow and no talent, especially when HD has sent kids to State in track in recent years. Adrian Anderson won the 100 and 200 I believe in State, HD as a team won 2nd place at a State track meet, you are ignorant lol. Freshman RB Devonte Broussard runs a 4.5 now, that Broussard last name has produced many fast RB's at HD, some all-state ones. Then there is HD being listed on the top winning percentage list of schools.... I do get the fact that HD can no longer compete with these D-1 powers like San Augustine, their numbers and talent just aren't there anymore... HD barely missed out on being in their regular D-2 District, where they belong, and usually dominate, which isn't a bad thing, that is playing vs teams that match them... I understand you don't care for small ball or HD, it's all good brother, lot's of folks are scorned from a good ole, back in the day, Hull-Daisetta Bobcat butt whooping! Falcon, you do understand that HD fields about 25 total football players, that is 9-12 grades to make a varsity. HD has no JV.... For HD to play and dominate schools of their actual size is pretty impressive... HD is one of the smallest D-1's in the State. Of course, if HD plays teams with 40 players on the sideline it probably want me good, especially a team with mostly upperclassmen.... The D-1 move really hurt HD, and we only missed D-2 by a small margin... If HD is so terrible and slow, how bad are these teams HD is beating 70-6 and 50-0?

Agreed. Tarkington has the 6th worst winning percentage in State history, they have won 26 percent of their games all-time... To put it in perspective, Hardin has won 34 percent of it's games and West Hardin 38 percent.

I agree HD has a special core of young studs for years to come.

Could very well happen, WH playing at home, returning 10 on each side of the ball, HD is starting multiple 14-15 year old freshman players... Psych! Just kidding it's HD that WH is playing, it's snot bubble time!
