PNG:
 
STRENGTH; returning alot of starters on offense, have to replace Rose but have a lot of youth to resolve that problem, Both QBs are back , Both RBs are back, Sparks is back. Offense is covered by Coach Faircloth. They will put points on the board.
 
Weakness: have to replace the kicker, and what always stands out in my mind is the Defense. They showed improvement last year and that is encouraging to an extent, lost our offensive line coach, huge blow will be hard to replace. Special teams not really sure about, been a while since we had a threat returning kicks and punts!
 
positive note: we have a lot of youth coming up which is very promising, seeing some players go both ways like that also.See alot of good things happening in the program, the future is bright For PNG the next couple of years.

i got your layup right here, so You say Crosby will have problems with Dayton, i couldnt agree more, they gonna walk the field with yall, but im here to tell you PNG can and will be able to throw the ball. Your basing your judgement off of one game, yes we threw three picks in first quarter one for a pick six, yes you were up by 28, was the difference in the game. But i promise you this it wont happen again. Cant speak for turnovers they happen but your talent level isnt gonna be what it was, dont care if you got someone calling phone #s getting your kids scholarships thats great and all, it isnt gonna help you this year. Pray we meet yall again in playoffs, it will be a different story. Crosby was the better team on the field last year no doubt, i knew the outcome before we even played the game.  PNG was a young team last year, will be young this year with just a lil more experience this year. Will be more than enough to take down Crosby, hope the stars align so we can settle the trash talking this year.

Crosby never plays the better atheletes on both sides of the ball. If they would do that in certain situations they would be a lot better off. After watching PNG play 3 times last year I thought their coach called timeouts in horrible situations. Indians have a lot of talent coming up so only time will tell. That freshman offensive line is going to be very very good. How do you Indian fans feel about the coach?

U keep bringing up that yalls coach was the oc for the team that beat us at state but answer this did u go to that game. If u were there then u would know that special teams is what beat us. And u keep bringing up the past but u talk smack when a Dayton fan brings it up. Yall beat us in a rain storm both times and could still barely squeak passed us. U crack me up man. Just admit that Crosby will go nowhere this year because u know deep down that yall aee done for a few years. Keep ur head up though we Will let u come watch us throughout our playoff run.

With that being said, and a 70% in the w column, and without the twins, i would say i really like our chances against Crosby. but for this to happen the stars must align to see another great matchup. Of course with your coaches system in place you might be right and we might be in trouble.But  seeing how you compare us to Barbers Hill if History is correct in this matchup yall must be the equivelent of Splendora!!!!!

HMMMMM....I can assure you the parents of H-D have more than the inner city school I worked at and we played in a Thursday night league ($300/team), 4 SQT's, The State 7v7 (2 days so add hotel room), a national 7v7 in Tennessee, and 3 non-SQT tournaments.  The kids started raising money early spring and we hit the streets seeking sponsors.  If you want it to happen, it can happen.  Just takes a coordinated effort and it has to be important.  I have heard coaches say they don't do 7v7 because it isn't real football or whatever reason.  To me that is just saying "I don't want to work to make this happen."  Have a nice day.

I dont put much stock on 7 on 7, never have never will. The only way i would put any kind of acceptance to it is if they lined up 11 on 11.Its not real till you hit the field on Friday nights and go head to head. Just a glorified timing drill with qb and wideouts against secondary coverage if you ask me,  more or less just bragging rights. Parents save your money send them to camps, get a lot more out of camps than bragging rights for something that means absolutely nothing. :blink:

I started this post so maybe I can clear this up, then finally end this topic. When I first became a member to this website I took to heart alot of what people said about my son, then had to remember that people have a opinion, and leave it at that a opinion. I later apologized to that person, because he have that right to speak upon the topic that was made available. Now as far as this topic and how it came about. I am not from Nederland even tho my kids are born and raised here, but if you were from the Golden Triangle the past 20 years you know who the Nederland Bulldogs are. A very well coached and system team, no questions are arguments to follow. Now i have worked here in Nederland for 7 years, and every year this topic is talked about from the men who grew up in Nederland knowing every player. Then I listened and kinda agree on certain things, but all in all we can agree to disagree. Many thought I made this post out due to my son, but really trying to find out the truth behind the stories. My son still has another year of high school, but knows if there are no colleges calling life goes on. That football doesn't define his future,personality,and his reasons to life. However the way situations went about this weekend,the phone calls of people I never knew, it makes you wonder. Now like I said it was just a opinion topic, and  whoever feels offended or misjudged talk to me. I am man enough to apologize if wrong, but man enough to stand up when you start bringing this to my boys. It was simply a opinion ladies and gentlemen!

classmate of mine has a daughter who is dating a soph linebacker for magnolia west. He is big for a 15 yearold. Can only imagine how he matures as a senior. Got  a  good discussion at the deer camp on the comeback win against Summer creek. was glad to thank him for knocking them out lol.

i dunno, it s snowed here twice in one week. I look forward to the stars lining up and delivering a payback whoopin. There have been several games between us, yall have won the last two, the first was by a point, the second was a straight up floggin. i will say this the only team that we havent beat is Dayton. Cant talk smack against them till we beat em. But Crosby we have beat and hopefully have a chance to redeem ourselves this year.

thats well before my time lol. one of our best games was at lamar. it was 28-28 with 6 mins left in fourth quarter when their qb went to the races in a blink of the eye. That was one good ball game.

Now biaplayer, we beat Dayton back in the 30's and 40's. :D
