I was just going to list all of the PNG varsity receivers and some of the JV and Freshman receivers as well.

My family has been supporters of PN-G football since the 1940's that will not change. I would not choose any other school. I may move from here one day but I will always be loyal to PN-G.

Beaumont has some four or five really good ones this year!

The Brook has a good one, can catch out of the backfield also. He will be heard from often

Definitely can't for get about the district's leading pill pusher Mr Halfin. Kid should have another great season. I really like him

Nederland is going to be filled with speed in the backfield this year. Should be exciting to see all the options they have!!  A little daylight and,,,,,,,,,gone!

You may remember last years soph Rembrant at LB for the Indians....watch out for him this his junior year. He will be worth keeping an eye on. We will be more athletic this year on the lines than last.

I was told that Walker will be back up and also he will play another position that he is pretty darn good at.

QB is not Png problem, they need an o-line and d-line , well and Lb and S

To be fair to that site, as you see from reading the thread it was not done by the staff there but rather, at the very least, a very misguided poster.

I like your enthusiasm. The Jaguars, the Bulldogs, and the Indians are all capable of winning in the first round next season. You need to worry about what your team lost. All of your offense. All of it.

Howdy folks... long time no see :) It's been a long time since my last post, but I have been popping in from time to time to stay caught up :)Now that BH has graduated the house not sure what to expect this season. I think Dave Campbell is being nice giving us the 4 spot in district, but I hope this years team does well. My boy starts playing 7th grade ball this year, so I cant wait for that!

Big Numbers?Crosby offense has ran up over 15,000 tot.yds the past 3 yrs & have 1(6)point win over Dayt(last Yr)to show for it.You wanna take jabs @Dayt a team that I don't remember ever having more than 22 srs in a year & been to the 3rd round or better 9 times in this current playoff streak.It's how you finish,not how you start.When has Crosby k'oed Dayt out of the playoffs=answer 0 in 2 decades.Lawd do I wish the UIL would have put us in 22-5a so we could send code red running for basketball season again :D :D

We been going at it real hard that you can tell the season is here, but are our athletes ready. We as parents and fans been going off, so what are your athletes doing

i will stick to football since this is a "football form . i will agree with the 80's (having played in the mid 80's in the area ) but i give a big shout out to when it really kicked off imo was  the 1970's . in 1974 -1977 was there a better team than png in the area or state ? they won 4 district titles ,4 bi district titles , 4 regional titles , 4 qtr finals titles,  2 semi finals titles and 1 state title . they had the best running back in the state in 1971-1972 in jeff bergeron and no losing record in the 70's and just missing the playoffs (district champs represented in the playoffs ) in 70,71 and 72 . beaumont hebert won it all in 1976 and in 1979 would lose in the semis to bay city . then you had newton that won it all in 1974 the 1st of their 3 titles and continues to be a powerhouse in 2a ball in the state till this day  . bob west starts the pa super team football team in 1972 that would show case the best of the best players in setx and in the late 1970's the beaumont super gold team was established as well . The area even had hamshire fannett  in 1975 make it too the semi finals game against lagrange  and was within a dropped winning touchdown pass of getting to the state finals game . the area and that decade produced 3 consecutive state football championships   1974 newton (2-A)  , 1975 png( 4-A) , 1976 hebert (3-A)   . the 1970's wasnt too shabby 

I've said there are pros & cons to 7on7
Not a hater of the 7on7 but I'm a realist. Your receiving corps for PNG looks deadly on paper. Giblin is a stud, Halfin is remarkable, Morse & Walker will be good. How does this measure with pads?? Varsity ball is different from any other level, so I leave Freshman & JV performances where they are. Indians look to be very dangerous & deserving of the Hype. I've seen these kids develop & believe they challenge for the DC. Keep in mind how tough this District is, anyone can finish 1-3(you know the 3) depending on how healthy the players remain throughout.

Oh I will admit that Morse will probably be a close running 2nd if not the best. If anyone has the chance to upend jaquet as the best it's morse but we will definitely have to see what happens in the season.

Couple of things to keep in mind about my Indians.....
1. Both lines have many new faces..... Im hearing we will be smaller and much much more athletic this season.
2. We will most likely be blessed with the best QB in the area and maybe further and he is only a junior.
3. Receiving core will be nasty this year. It may be hard to believe losing Rose but this group will overall be better.
4. Defense has some holes but Rembrant is a specimen on D and with some guys moving from O to D in the secondary they should be a much improved pass defensive team.
5. We all know Halfins is a pretty darn solid back and he is a workout warrior. He will only be better and his backup will be good to.
6. Most important of all is that since Brennan Doty's senior year this team has the pieces to match what coach Faircloth loves to do. I look back at that season and remember all the great calls he made. I think this season may remind us of his genius.
PS a large portion of this team will be different than your usual PN-G team and we will be pretty young with a decent amount returning for the 2015 season. Should be a good 4 or 5 years at the Reservation.
