I watched the game on tape Lumberton clearly beat themselves period. The turnovers in the redzone and penalties at bad times. You turn it over and then allow a 65-75 yard touchdown pass with less than a minute in the half after you drive all the way deep inside there terroritory. The halftime score should have been 28-7 Lumberton. They made a lot of mistakes way more than they did when PNG played them.

I could not agree more the running game at Silsbee is very stout and when the level of compettiion levels off Silsbee will be better off for playing the teams that they did. Silsbee lost to the #2 team in the state in 3a the #15 team in 5a and will play the #1 team in 4a. (I say it here and now I do no believe PNG should be ranked that high), but if you calculate that out they have lost to 3 state rankes teams whilst trying to install a new offense and coach with his new style. Silsbee will be just finbe. Their backfield is probably the most talented in all of the area. Its easier as an outsider to see that Silsbee will be a ok come playoff time. Best of lucl Tigers

To give you an Idea how special this is when our Indians did this back a few years ago we were only the 60th team in the history of Texas high school football to do it. A big congrats to Silsbee its an honor.

I can tell you this PNG's very first game in our history was a 7-0 loss to Silsbee in 1925...... They are a old tradition rich school.

Shelbyville lost a bushel basket of players from last years quaterfinal team. They played a hard nondistrict schedule. Its really hard to tell right now if they will compete in district yet

This is what blows my mind. I assumed they would be the very best our district had to offer as a defensive unit. Its just been the opposite. U truely do not understand??????

I do not see this as the doom and gloom everyone else seems to. You loose a game with your stud QB out and other main starters out. It happens. It isnt indicative of the 2016 Crosby team. They did loose and it wasnt expected, but it was without the starter at QB.

Cant wait to see how this game turns out. Its like unveiling something new.
