Last year is last year. We have moved on.

I for one do not doubt the Lumberton players and coaches.  I know they aren't intimidated by Dayton.  Yes they beat us last year on a gutsy 2point play.  I know they will play hard.  I just want this game to happen b/c I think it will be a great matchup.  Though I despise some Lumberton posters, I do believe you have some of the best fans.  Its all in good fun

Are you serious, we have an explosive offense, overall absolutely I wouldn't put us up there with Dayton, but offensively I wouldn't hesitate... not one second.

This Dayton team is getting close to playing as good as the Dayton team that clocked Nederland last year 63-0.

Nederland should thank there lucky stars they are in division I and won't have to get humiliated again in a Bronco stampede.

Hmmmmm, reading this post tells me then that L-Town could maybe beat this team by 2 points then? I mean your getting "close to playing as good".

dayton is just trying to intimidate us, to 'scare' us.

I'm not saying we would win. But, we won't be intimidated. Even if we lose 100-0 our boys will go out there and do there best to the end. No intimidation.

By the way SHORT I as well have nothing against Central.  I have commented that I thought Central has some classy young men on the team as well as good athletes.

People seem to have a tendency to skip over the good posts from Lumberton fans and focus on the bad.

Such is life on a forum. Makes it more interesting.

Why does that not surprise me at all.. :

You know how it is...A LOT of teams are whining about their coaches EACH WEEK...we just choose the refs. We like our coaches.

I think we can all agree that there are stupid fans for all teams and they don't represent the majority of the fans.

Sad that people have to act so childish. Especially in front of kids.

It was a good game that could have gone either way. I knew PNG would be ready to play us tough, no matter how their season has gone so far.

And we do appreciate the support during the playoffs. Last year and hopefully this year. I have some friends who still talk about all the PNG playoff games they used to go to. Wherever you played, they were there rooting you on.

Oh yeah...Babe belongs to the JAGS...don't get it twisted Panthers...you know who runs it!  It was a great atmosphere and the bands rocked. ;D  For Central to hold the Panthers to under 100 yds of offense blew me away...Willie was held in check with single coverage and cover 2...he was a non-factor which goes to show...he's got talent but talent don't get you anywhere without heart and desire!

Soulja I almost pulled out a post from you and how you bashed the offense against Lumberton...I know you're feeling better about what we've got...I said this before...Losing to Lumberton was tuff, but if we learned from that game and keep getting better...come playoff time we'll be a load for anyone...C'mon Livingston, you're next! 8)

Word to PNG fans:  You've had the honor to be considered one of the best fan supporting teams in the area.  Dont blow this.  It is in rough times like  these where you can maintain that reputation on the reservation.  Hold those forked tongues and keep your hands in the pockets.  Your being watched. 

I think it's too late.  We now know that they leave when they're getting pounded just like everybody else, they don't travel as well when they're losing, they blame the coach when their talent isn't what it once was... their cover is blown, they are human.

I was playing with the wos losing to hf but ive been serious since then and it almost happened last week with png over lumberton. teams better have their heads on a swivel when i pick an upset.  

Don't think you upset prediction wasn't going through my mind...I believe you said 'PNG will win on a last minute drive' or something like that. Well, we were tied and PNG was driving the ball with a couple of minutes left. I thought 'dang, how did scooter know?'

WOW,  tougher game than you Slumberton folks thought,  huh?   (Overconfidence is a killer)

hmmm...don't know what you read but I just reread all the predictions. Except for 1 or 2 raider fans expecting an easy win, nearly every Lumberton poster cautioned about being overconfident and said it would be tough. Sure, they predicted wins but I didn't see overconfidence.

You focused on those 1 or 2 posters and ignored the rest, I guess.

There were a lot of non Lumberton posters predicting an easy win.

We knew it would be a tough game. Playing at PNG is always tough.

Especially with the fact that we had never beat PNG and playing in their new stadim that they had already lost in...we knew they wouldn't just lay down. We knew they would put up a fight. Which they did.

But, we won. And that's all that matters.

Or...

If the points don't work, they could change the rules... ;D

Well, no matter how Livingston looked against us, obviously they regrouped and made adjustments.

Any team can have a bad night and not play well.

That being said, having only seen Livingston when they played us, I am surprised they have done as well as they have. Wasn't expecting that.

But they are certainly getting the job done.

I am interested in the allegations of drinking going on at the party.  were the parents there? where did the alcohol come from? I believe if the allegations are founded there will be a whole lot of people in trouble besides these 3 or more young men.
