This is basically looking like the game to decide 3rd and 4th place in the playoffs, with the loser facing Bellville. Not a matchup that i would want in the first round if i was a fan.
i think WO-S wins in a close one. 28-21. Honestly haven't seen Jasper in person this year, only seen their game film against Kinkaid and that was the 1st week of the season. I'm sure they are better than they were then.

Peevey had the Bears looking sharp in practice this week. They will be without two WR's and a Safety this week due to injuries, but I still see them winning by about 20 points

I was very impressed with Legacy’s QB. Kid had an arm and was pretty dang accurate.
He threw a pretty ball.
Orange Leader said he was a Freshman.
Stats were 21-34 for 360 yards passing and 4 touchdowns passes

Wierd... so he doesn't know what play is coming either?
no he knows whats coming and will chime in when necessary, he's in constant communication with his OC Jeff Breaux

WOS QB Turner looked really good to me. His passing has improved since last year. His running/athletic ability has always been there. He should have a good season and be able to continue to get better for his senior season next year.
RB, Amerson looked like a STUD tonight. Freshman RB Jefferson is going to dangerous his entire career, fun to watch with the ball in his hands.
WOS whipped LCM on both sides of the Line of Scrimmage tonight.
Just my two cents from the game.
The Lines on the visitor side to get into the gate and at the concession stand were absolutely ridiculous. Fans were still getting into the game in the 2nd quarter. Concession Stand waits were over 30 minutes and they were out of a lot of items very early. WOS has to do better in this aspect of hosting games, LCM didn't bring a HUGE crowd just about average road crowd in the Peevey Era.
Robo is super loud on the mic but love him and his enthusiasm.
Good Luck to both teams the rest of the way.

Does Peevey ever wear a headset on the sideline?
Nope, never has.

Peevey is aware of the restroom situation lol. It'll change when they flip the home side to the visitor stands.
Don't hold your breath on that flipping of visitor/home side. Horse Troughs may be around a little longer. 😠

Exactly. Lost to Nederland without CT. And then ran the table until meeting eventual state champion. Which I believe we could've beaten if not for losing our all time leading rusher.
Correct, in the Nederland game last year CT had Covid that game and that game was shortened due to lightning. WO-S probably wins if the play all 4 quarters. Gales going out with the broken arm was a huge loss. Major Bowden was a stud for China Spring last season.

That came across as harsh. Whitmire is a really, really good coach and Buna should have not allowed him to leave.
Any idea where Whitmire went? I enjoyed watching him coach the few times ive seen them play

I wonder if Toby has any ex wos players on his coaching staff over there
Yes, Roy Locks is on his staff. WO-S Class of 1998. Stud DE in High School. Stand up guy, known him for 30+ years and I'd give the guy the shirt off my back.

Moody’s first season was 2005. The next season was considered a huge success because they went something like 5-5 and finished 4th in district I believe, and beat PNG like 40-0. Then my senior year in 2007 they only won 1 or 2 games, played WOS tough in that mud bowl and it all went downhill from there.
Total Game by Game/Season by Season results from the BOJO Era

Coach T was back full-time on Tuesday. WO-S won't the same team this week as they were last week.
Vegas has WO-S at -9.5 points
I'll give the points
WO-S 28
LC-M 14

Bridges has been really scoring the basketball this year! His average has got to be close to 30ppg.

He tried it last year in silsbee
Really? I don't remember it this way. After attending any LC-M game I seem to hear Coach Jeffcoat's voice in my sleep that same night yelling "PUSH, PUSH".
I've personally never seen a game in his almost 2 years of Head Coaching that he seems to want to slow the game down and play it in the 30-50pt range.

I see silsbee is 12 and 7 but I bet those 7 lost came by playing top tough opponents teams that lcm would run from
Who exactly did LC-M run from? Last I remember, Ozen and West Brook wouldn't add them to their schedule. They went on the ROAD to PA Memorial on a Friday Night, which we all know is a hostile environment. I've never known Coach Jeffcoat to "run" from anyone.
