I don't agree with a lot of things Trump says. But I have no problem with him not trusting our intelligence agencies, considering sufficient evidence has emerged proving they have been biased against him. I don't trust a thing they say anymore, and with good reason. And the intelligence agencies have not proven that Russia did anything. They've just said "Russia did it, trust us". History has shown that Russia has tried to influence many of our elections...so what is new this time. Why the fake outrage now when you didn't give a rat's patootie all of the other times. I find the reactions to Trump's meeting as very shameful, embarrassing, and hypocritical by everyone criticizing Trump...those who are screaming now but did not say one peep about Russian and Chinese hacking while Obama was in office. Nor did any of these critics cry outrage over Obama's meddling in the Israeli election. The fake outrage now, or even genuine outrage, is severely overplayed and comical. If these hacks are so outraged now, they should have been just as outraged during Obama's tenure.

I haven't been keeping up with the news lately, so forgive me if I missed this. A judge has ordered ICE to re-unite kids with their parents that have been arrested for crossing the border illegally. As little as I know about this issue, my understanding was that illegal border crossers will be arrested. Any minor illegally crossing the border will also be detained, but cannot be incarcerated in an adult detention center...thus separation of kids from parents. Now I hear that a judge has ordered ICE to reunite the families. In what little I know, this judgement seems to be in violation of federal law. My question to the law scholars out here is what authority does this judge have to make a ruling that defies federal law. Again, I have not kept up with this issue and the judgement could be perfectly okay, but is contrary to my rudimentary understanding of the law. Wil someone please explain?

I have a question: currently, as the laws stand now, can charges of aiding and abetting be brought against someone harboring illegal aliens? If Diane Black's bill proposal becomes law, and illegal presence in the U.S. becomes a felony, can charges of aiding and abetting be brought then? I have no idea on either question. Does someone out there know precisely the current law and potential law on this?
