If the voting public is so flaky that 3/4 will turn against her because of this news, why didn't they also turn on Obama when it was discovered that he actually ate dog? Maybe because the media didn't play up his transgressions? And if that is the case, how much power does the media have? They can sink a career for killing a dog, but dismiss and bury a story of eating a dog? How influential would the media be if someone other that Trump won the nomination. Let's say DeSantis was the Republican frontrunner...how easy would it be for the media to bury his candidacy...instead of him having that perceived cakewalk to president? I'm just thinking out loud.

I think we are on the same page on most things, but almost polar opposites regarding how Trump will act as president. I hope you are right on the revenge thing. I hope he nails them to the wall. God knows they deserve it.

It would shock me beyond belief if he tried to. Now, I hope and pray he appoints people that will investigate, charge, and imprison anyone found guilty of the crimes against him...including treason. I would be all for a special task force charged solely with the task of investigating crimes against Trump. Of course the Democrats will be screaming bloody murder that Trump is weaponizing the government against them. We all know the story. From a cursory standpoint, there seems to be a plethora of evidence to lock up many Democrats for a long time. Unless this is done, I see no end to destruction of our political system...and this country.

Both sides...that is, everyone tries to get their people elected. Trump has not weaponized the government to bankrupt and imprison his political opponents. Night and day difference for me.

I'm glad Trump is the nominee and future president. I think one of our most pressing crisis right now is the corruption in our goverenment (FBI, DOJ, IRS, etc) and in the Democrat party. They have sunk to banana republic tactics, and if nothing is done, they will continue these methods. Imprisoning and bankrupting political opponents should not and cannot be tolerated. These things can and will topple a great nation. I don't know if Trump will go after the Demcrats and the goverment agencies that have gone after him, but he definitely has the motive to do it. I don't think any of the other Republican candidates would seek justice against these anti-Americans. As a bonus, Trumps policies have been shown to be a great boon for our country (and nobody on here can prove that to be wrong). I fear that without retribution to what the Democrats have done, this country is on a speedy and unstoppable downward spiral. I think my hatred of what the Democrats have done to our country is greater than the hatred CardinalBacker has for Trump. Well, I shouldn't get carried too far away.

His policies provided for peace all over the world, low gas prices, low food prices, energy independence, closed border, low inflation, record low unemployment, and on and on and on. You try to counter this narrative by saying unemployment skyrocketed on his watch. You said this knowing full well the unemployment rate went up due to Covid. Your narrative is just so laughable, to the point of side-splitting hilarity. Who would even attempt this asinine narrative? Now, even if you get past the utter stupidity of that MSNBC talking point, you provide another side-splitting hilarious tidbit of evidence to back your claim of Trump being bad for the country. You actually tried to tie the stock market going down to Trump...after Covid. You, I, and everybody else knows the stock market was flourishing under Trump...until Covid hit. This argument is just as bad as the other one. Again, who would even attempt this narrative? The only thing you could remotely muster that had any sliver of truthfulness, is that spending increased. Sure, Trump rebuilt the military and gave them a deserved raise. But he also had to shut down the government due to Democrats demanding an even more, and very detrimental, increase in spending. And in a true extremely exaggerated fashion, you proclaim that spending "skyrocketed". Again, who would even attempt this narrative? I think I can smell the desperation.
