You guys are going to have to learn that banging your head against the wall is more productive than trying to carry a logical discussion with some posters on this site.   
Herman’s offense is absolutely perfect for Roschon which is why he was the first offer and commit in his class.  He was recruited as a QB, not a RB, WR or DB.  
Sitting at 3rd on the depth chart as a true freshman at a school that recruits like Texas is nothing to sneeze at.  And like others have said, if Sam were injured, I’m sure he would get his reps to compete.  
As far as “burning the redshirt,” don’t forget the new rule that allows for a player to play up to 4 games and still qualify for a RS.

That's very true. Texas being highly ranked and competitive nationally can change the dominance of those other schools we see in the playoff every year. I hate seeing top Texas Hs players going out of state and riding the bench. When they could be 3 or 4 year starters here.
I hope and pray for no stupid injuries when RJ gets his chance to shine. He's another in a long line of extremely talented young men from our area to represent Texas.

He is still listed as the 3rd QB on the depth chart released yesterday and my sources tell me this is just temporary at RB. Him going in at RB is in worst case scenario. Although  he might see some time this weekend because Ingram is battling a slight knee sprain and Whittington is battling some flare ups from a hernia surgery he had in high school.

To me, who has a good or the "best" recruiting class is not determined by some ratings company or "star" system.  It is determined by what happens on the football field.  One of the reasons why I have never been interested in "recruiting" season.

All these freaky recruits keep committing.

Terry Bradshaw wasn’t even that great. If it wasn’t for Swann, Stalworth and Harris making phenomenal plays to make him look good he would have been just a backup QB. Hell, if Phil Robertson would have taken football more serious and not have decided hunting was more important, you probably would have never heard of Bradshaw. So, I don’t put much stock as to what he says about anybody.

He is obvioulsy confused. Texas did not have two 5 A (star) QBs. That's their little brother. 
La Tech could have gone unnoticed as some lesser opponents have done during Herman's coaching tenure. Now, they have UT's full attention. 

You should really, really, really never make Herman and the Horns Underdogs.
