When and where is this game?

If PAM has a great secondary then Porter will be in trouble. Porters ground game will not make a difference in this game. I hope Porter wins and Vidor showed that it's possible! Good Luck Spartans 

Why would you say poor Porter? They have a solid team and are getting to play at home. I would bet they have at least 4,000 fans in attendance and more if New Caney plays on Thursday or Saturday. While I agree they will not be the favorite, I would not expect a blowout either. Coach Holley will have them in the game, I am sure of that. I remember a couple years back when Nederland as the DC played a Holley coached team in the first round, we know how that turned out.

Heard this evening the New Caney side is sold out. 

Porter still has work to do but I still don't understand why everyone's underrating them so heavily. In district Porter and New Caney have played the exact same teams (Except Porter played Crosby and New Caney played Barber's Hill). Both teams won all their games and Porter beat a Crosby team that decimated Barber's Hill. New Caney even lost to Tomball Memorial before district, a team thats 4-4 and might not even make the playoffs. I believe it's going to be a great game based off of what I've seen watching these two teams, I'm just wondering why people are so reluctant to classify Porter as a good team.

But isn't Porter one of the top teams in the district??

Going to be a good game, I think Porter can edge it out if their defense continues to play as well as they have been these last few weeks

If I was to guess correct this is a NC guy trying to have some fun.  No one from Porter would post that.  People in the Porter area are excited about a good season but not delusional

I will give them props. They are having an awesome season. It may not be much to some people but it's a hell of a good time for these kids. I hope they at least go away with 1 loss (they play us Nov. 4). They should be very proud of themselves

Yes, Porter is the best HS football team in the State of Texas.  You took over Liberty's spot from last week. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Is it really necessary to bash Porter and their schedule because of one silly post. We get it Crosby you had guys hurt it is a well known and well stated fact. The district is down and they haven't beat the highest level of competition also not something that is unknown. But the kids and coaching staff have worked very hard and had a great season no matter what is said or posted on here you can't take that away from the kids. 

BH boys weren't playing like they have been against NC, no excuses but I noticed it right away. Hopefully that was a wake up call for our boys.

According to maxpreps, New Caney gave up 316 yards and 29 points to splendora while Porter gave up just 122 yards and 3 points. To completely shut a team down that had extreme success against one of the top 4 teams in district is impressive; can't count Porter out

According to numerous of posters no team from either district will probably go past the second round , I'm not biased I know if my Titans go D1 the % of making it to state , let alone semi' s will be a monumental challenge , my dark horse is Porter , especially if they can get a good few draws in the playoffs , even PNG being that they'll be in the D2 they can run the tables , what do you guys think ? 

Porter will ride the "high" for a while, I've seen every game, and they are impressive. Coach Jim Holley has those kids believing and so do I.
