I cannot believe that the WOS numbers are that low. When I graduated we were a 5A school.

I think if WOS and lcm merged, the gold should be kept from lcm and the navy blue should be kept from WOS. It would look just like Notre Dame, but I am not sure about the mascot. I do like the hurricane idea.

I don't think we have had problems there. I record in jasper is 5 - 2 I think.

I don't care if it's called the junkyard, the alamo, the boneyard, the dawghouse or whatever, I want to see a good game on friday. Much respect for the Jasper Head Coach, and former WOS assistant coach, Thomas Brooks. He has done a wonderful job this season from what I hear. That's amazing! This kid throws for about 200+ a game on the freshman team, and our varsity throws for 26 last week. Atleast the freshman coaches at WOS know how to use offensive talent. I'm sure he will be moved to an offensive lineman when he gets on the varsity. THANK GOD FOR CORNEL THOMPSON!

All that is fine and good against a team that is not very good, at home, in a district game, but what about a team that is pretty good, at a nuetral site, in the playoffs. You know like giddings or huffman.

This is more like it. We finally played a team with a few descent athletes and the wonderful mustang playcalling showed back. Let me tell you something people, the reason I end every post with THANK GOD FOR CORNEL THOMPSON, is because that is the #1 reason that we win. Our current oc calls plays like he is trying to run the clock out from the opening whistle every time we play a team with any athletes. Basically he is putting all the pressure on our defense. Look what happened the four years Thompson was gone. The oc tried to do the same thing, except that dc couldn't bail him out. Look what happens every time we play a team that has athletes, the game is alot closer than it should be. That basically gives our defense no chance for error. The unfortunate thing about that is eventually that will cost us our season, just like it has for the last 11 seasons under the current oc. The only question is who not if. Who will be this years giddings(06), or silsbee(98), or ozen(03),or unbelievably huffman(EMBARASSING). I will always stay to the end of every game, because I am a dedicated wos fan, and that is my alma mater, but it is very disappointing to watch this pathetic display year after year. I have already made my statement on this game. You can't make any assessment on playcalling when playing a team that is that BAD. The reason that the oc didn't open the arsenal in the preseason, is because he couldn't. We were playing teams with athletes, and now we are not. Put points up against giddings. We shall see what happens against a REAL team. We have not scored over 22 on anybody that is anygood. I thought for a second that we had done something by putting 30+ on kville, until orangefield put 40+ on them. The only reason I slowed my posts down is because of all the whinning, by people like 071904. Some of yall are way to sensitive on here. By the way that was one of the worst teams that I have ever seen lsat friday. THANK GOD FOR CORNEL THOMPSON!!

Thank You totalsports, I knew you would see things our way. Just a suggestion, maybe you should ask your basketball coach to come coach your football team. He doesn't seem scared, and definately knows how to score points. "You play to win the game."

I personally don't think kville is a playoff team. They still have hf and silsbee, and I think both are better. Kville clearly has no defense, and it is starting to show. The only question left to ask is WHERE IS KVILLE BALLA????? Once again district 21-3a has shut him up.

First things first, this game was lost last monday at hj's practice. "You play to win the game", you don't play not to lose the game. Perfect example, look what L-town has done to dayton and central in the last two weeks. Does anybody think that lumberton has the talent of either of these opponents? hj fans quit making excuses, and accept the fact that your coaches made no attempt to beat wos. The second thing is how can you get mad at a coach for running up the score in the first half? If they would have done that in the 4th or maybe even end of the 3rd, I could have understood. However the coach was complaining needs to rethink his future with a team whose coaching staff thinks that little of there team not to even attempt to win the game. The third and most important thing is the fact that once again, wos got nothing out of this game. Hard to form an opinion on playcalling or anything out of this game, due to poor coaching by hj's coaches. I think the hj coach owes his team an apology for his lack of effort. Good job Stangs. td, I guess that makes us not be able to score from inside the five from little league on up to the varsity. Maybe we as little league coaches should try to stop simulating what the varsity is TRYING to do. I know from know on when the ball is inside the one yard line, instead of snapping the ball six yards backwards, we will run the qb sneak. Oh yeah, td feel free to pass that info along to your daddy.

You know Joe Torre will be fired for not being able to win a championship with the most talent. Sound familier? Hint, Hint, Hooks, Hint, Hint. Our passing games needs lots of work, because when we get passed the little league were in we will have to be able to throw and run. However, since this working on the passing game is the most logical thing to do, I am sure that we will continue to run the ball like because we are able to do so against teams that cannot match up. Whenever we line up against somebody that has similar talent and ANY coaching it will be a question of will the poor kids be able to overcome the lack of preparation and poor playcalling. P.S. Come on td and 071904 run to your daddy's defense!!!

Master T, why should you be any different from anybody else that we play. It's the same thing every week, but the results have always been the same. Please don't fall for master, you will get your feelings hurt.

Just as I thought, kville is very average, with basically one player. It will be a good game between kville and hampshire. Once again we did not come out and score alot in the first half, but we seem to be scoring alot in the third quarter. This will be another year with no competition in this district. The next time we will be challenged will be the giddings game. balla and cheer, poo poo is pretty good, but the rest of your team is average at best.

No wonder people don't want to tackle this guy. I don't care to touch poo poo either. We may not win the game , but poodi sounds a lot better than poo poo. Good luck kitties, you will need it.

I gotta agree with you on this one zenmaster. I have been preaching that statement for years. Through the grapevine though I have heard that there may finally be some shuffling when all is said and done.
