The play that makes me scream the most, is when our offense has the ball on the one inch line and the qb sneak is not called. YEAR AFTER YEAR, AFTER YEAR, AFTER YEAR, AFTER YEAR, AFTER YEAR!!!!!

kvillballa, wos hasn't showed you nothing? Isn't that the same thing that you said last year? You do remember last year don't you? That 46 to 14 whoopin you took. Not much has changed in a year. You are still talking and we are still winning, and not winning against average 3a schools.

At what point in the season can we stop using the excuse that this is a young team? Don't you think after two scrimmages and four games this team should be somewhat more mature. We need to start finding our rythm on offense or do something else. THANK GOD FOR CORNEL THOMPSON!!!

Some of those same "knowledgable fans" will not be singing the same tune after our anual first or second round loss to a lesser team. They will be on hear asking for a new oc. I am just getting a head start.

Sarah, I am not sure who you are, but I have been calling for a new oc for some years. I think Toby would be great for our program. I can remember when I was playing at WOS, Toby and Marcus were always up and down the sidelines as ballboys. It does seem odd with Toby not on the sidelines this year. I am not sure if he wants to come back, but we could definately use somebody who knows what MUSTANG FOOTBALL is all about. Both Foreman's are badly missed from our sidelines. I do think that there were more plays that could have been made by the players, but has anybody noticed that our half time scores this year have been vs. dayton - 0, vs. lcm - 0, vs. bay city - 6, and now vs. a tough hf team at home 7. I am not sure how well our wonderful oc is planning for our opponents. The not enough athletes excuse is really being disproven. I mean really we only scored 27 offensive points against hf at home. No disrespect to hf, but we have about 5 times the talent of hf. To me there seems to be confusion at times on the sidelines, especially in the first half. If you watch Coach T and the defense they are constently talking to their players about what has just happened in the game. Thank GOD for CORNEL THOMPSON.

Are we talking football or track? I may be wrong, but I can never remember Dayton just have a world class track team. Apparently if they are that fast they have not really utilized it very well.

It is hard to judge how good Rhodes is, because he hasn't played anybody that is any good yet. We will see how good he is in a few weeks. I wonder how many yards he would have had against Dayton, lcm, and Bay City?

Ok td, I will give you the benefit of the doubt on the lcm game because of the rivalry and the field conditions, but what about bay city? Bay city is giving up about 34 points a game. Better yet what about what about giddings last year. You know all the college players that we lost that is the reason we cant score anymore, well last year we had those guys and only managed to score 12 points on giddings who gave up 28 the week after us and 35 two weeks after us. I just dont think our oc gets the most out of our talent like the oc has done for years. FYI td, back when I played, we didn't care if lcm was cross town rivals or not, or if the field was muddy, we badly beat the bears year in and year out.

TD, the reason I continue to get on here and state the facts is because this is a football forum for setx, and since wos is in setx they fall under that category. If you don't like it don't read it. Texas scored 41 points in the national championship game. Why would mack brown fire the oc? Have they changed there oc since then? I don't understand the comparison. Surely you are not comparing UT's oc to the wos oc. Maybe mack should have fired the dc, he gave up 39 points. I have got to question your intelligence on this one 071904. As far as me approaching the coaching staff, what good would that do? If I thought it would make a difference I would tell any coach my opinion everyday. Coach Hooks doesn't care what a fan thinks. I am merely stating facts. That powerhouse bay city defense that held us to 12 points, is giving up about 35 a game. That powerhouse defense that dayton has gave up 30 something points to friendswood. That powerhouse defense of those battlin bears gave up 30 something to caney creek. I would like to nominate the wos oc, he did not make one bad call this week. It was actually the best our offense looked all year.

He was there for about six years. I know it's hard to tell from the our current oc, but we used to have great overall coaching staffs.

Oh I forgot, we cant score on anybody because we lost two college players on offense. You know its funny that Coach T doesn't have any problem stopping other teams with our so called "unathletic players." Did anybody see the Giddings score? They are scoring about 50 points per game. We better get some athletes quick so our oc can score some points.

I gotta go with Coach Brooks and the Dawgs in this one. Coach Brooks started coaching at WOS my senior year, and is a great coach. He has done a great job everywhere he has gone.
