They called me crazy for saying this last night…but I’m debating with ppl who really don’t know the game, doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that these ppl are relying solely off talent and are poorly coached 

Make SOC sustain drives all night.   Don’t give up big plays, and they can win this thing. 

I would have saved those timeouts if I were the Boerne coach....nothing to be ashamed of just like Brock heck of a game

Agreed.   Kid had more burst and wiggle than the older 2 kids.   Wanna say all 3 that played are coming back.   One or 2 of those kids will love to linebacker, or WR to fill that void.
I told my brother that the Freshman reminded me of a young Tony Tompkins.   One of my favorite, and most under appreciated PA’s backs of all time.

Wimberly needs a world-class Communications Program like Yates has for basketball.  Kids/Families travel from other continents to be a part of top academic programs like that.

Silsbee, mainly Miller, would have scored, but couldn’t have kept Carthage out of the endzone. 

And Carthage is without their best offensive player the last 2 weeks

That #77 for Brock has a helluva motor.   Good size kid too.   Very good defensive linemen.

What a game.   About as 2 evenly matched teams you can have.   Two very well coached teams.   Very few penalties.
Classy programs and good kids.

This game is weird and fun. 

I’ve said the same thing.   But they do what they do, as good as anyone in the state.   It’s fun to watch this offense.   
 
I thought Brock had the upper hand, and it looks like Franklin has figured something out.

I think Franklin's figured it out...the interior of that defensive line for Brock is stiff

Gunter much stronger and more physical than Poth.  
 
Surprising Poth beat Gilmer Harmony as bad as they did, and Harmony handled Newton easily.

#5 for Albany can really run.   He’s a heckuva athlete.   Big kid too.   He could play for just about any program in Texas.    #4 is a brute too.
Mart needs to stop being cute, and just run #2 between the tackles.   Then occasionally get #4 the ball in space.    You can tell they have never had to sustain drives.   They probably just big play the hell out of everybody.

😂 the halftime show of each game I really like, the stories are interesting and almost always hilarious. Riley as a weather guy I could totally see! 😂

I think the strength of SOC is the secondary. They are really good. NDNs on offense are gonna have to keep them honest to keep the running lanes open. I don’t think PNG can get behind the corners but RPOs and double moves will suffice.  If PNG can get out front by 2 scores we got something!

I didn’t see too much disrespectful stuff on here, just a confident fan base of a team that ran into a slightly better team on the night it counted.
