By the way, 40% from 3 pt range yields the same production as 60 percent from inside the arc.  Any coach, anywhere (that has a clue) will take that percentage all day long.  

This is an ignorant post. He is definitely a great shooter and I'd be willing to bet Alto is worried about what he can do from the 3 point line.

As I stated in the SA vs Neches thread, it all depends on which SA team shows up.  Lasts nights win very impressive for SA, but their record indicates they're erratic.  Imo, it's a toss up.  I'm going with our District team, Go Pirates.

I agree with all of y'all. We played them twice and I've noticed that his attitude wasn't where it should be. Yes he's a fairly well basketball player, but if he would improve his attitude he would be much better. Great shooter and I was impressed with his ball handling skills in between the tough Piney Woods half court press.

As for #4 I have not once said he was not a tremendous player, he's just not the best player in the area (or IMO D1 caliber). The main reason I don't think he is, is his body language throughout a game. I was very disappointed with his lack of effort defensively against EC, and his  demeanor. Is he the best pure scorer in the area, quite possibly. Overall player, no.  The kid can play basketball, not taking anything away from you,  just not at the overall level some people think. 

Now Pineywoods is a bad team, last week it was said they would beat SP by 30. I don't know if they took your fishing license while you were in Sabine Pass or you got something against the kids from PA. But guess what kids from PA have won SEVEN STATE TITLES. So who has the REAL ballers.

Neither one of these kids are D1 talents, please just stop. If either one of these were D1 talent, SP would not be the 4 seed in a 2A district. If y'all want to see D1 talent make the trip to Silsbee, then watch SP. 

I read something about this not too long ago.  And if I remember right it is a judgement call.  If you hit the backboard I. The act of trying to make a block, no call.  But if it is deemed you did it without that purpose it is illegal. Someone can correct me if that is wrong but I think that's what I read.
the other part of that is a block when the ball has hit the backboard.  I would like to know the correct call on this.  Have read it that it may be different at different levels, high school, pro etc.
