Assuming you have never followed PNG football i'm not sure how you haven't heard of GCM. Now maybe you are a new PNG fan for this year lol.

I think GCM's defense will play as good as they can and will keep it close. I just don't know how our offense will do. As of right now its looking like we have 1 play maker and that's it. Hopefully this kid from Channelview can provide a spark.

You are correct. Wasn't a PNG fan until this year. Im supporting family. Hence my username.

  2. I really want to see the QB.  I like to how my bro compares to the district competition.   Sadly, it appears I won't be able to do so until we play yall week 8. Maybe I could try to get home to PA on PNG bye and catch a Titans game. Get some Sartins and drop the kid off to his grandma.

  3. What are your predictions and analysis? I have never heard of GCM until I looked at the schedule and read a few of the comments posted by BG and a few others. What do you guys think of their squad and how PNG matches up?  Anyone know anything in depth about them or seen them play this year? From people's comments I fully expect another PNG W, but anything can happen any day.  I am also debating whether it would be worth it to come back out for this game, I had so much fun at the last one.

Anyways my prediction as of now

    PNG 35

    GCM 14

Looking forward to another strong performance from my Indians.

PN-G had decent size in the trenches...  They wasn't smaller than Silsbee's, while your spewing incorrect info....  Smh

What about it was that was untrue? That they were big and soft? That they gashed our defense with number 4? Or that they'd only had one weapon and threw the ball 5 times. Everything I said was said by at least 20 other people on here.

  5. Silsbee boys are big on the lines but it doesn't matter. They're super soft. Tissue soft. Just watched PNG eat them alive. Granted the stat sheet says that #4 did well against PNG, they were pushed around on both sides of the ball by smaller PNG lineman. Also having only one legitimate weapon doesn't help them. If you cue on the RB they are done. If they have good receivers they don't trust that the Qb can get the ball to them throwing 5 times in a blowout loss.

i know png say this every year,BUT,this year there in trouble the only reason im saying this is because of rj,i know there not going to be able to stop him,and theres alot more to go with him, theres speed every where on that off,i know people are going to say all say it every year,so im waiting, but all i have to say is rj,we havent had a running qb before like this, and he can do it all,if they try to blitz, hes gonna torch them,so they better have a fame good def, sounds like there qb is having problems, lol, watch at all the attacks i get im looking forward to them.....

Yeah looking forward to that game. Got to bring the bragging right back to the reservation.

yeah i feel the same way,but i can tell you this i was at both of there scrimmages, and they are alot better and its just the first game,so if they continue to get better as a whole then they will be a pretty good team

Yeah I thought tackling was good. It's just everytime #4 got space I held my breath. He was just one guy. I just get worried about the teams with speed on the outside and backfield that are actually competent enough to use it. Gap integrity and individuals staying on assignment will be a big theme for this years defense. Good job today,  but we need more and have to work up to it.

yeah you were close i give you that,i was there the kid is a beast but you would have never thought he went for that much by watching the game, even through all that good runs you would thought they would have won the game with those numbers, png just got after them, png off too much, and just wait until the soph qb gets more games under his belt, that off will be pretty good, the need neds to get better,if they can png will be tough for anybody to bet, other teams will get better also just making a point

Yeah I would have never guessed he rushed for that much. They struggled so often with things. Good show though. I'm still worried about PNG team speed

99s here brother, and i going off what was told by a couple of the parents dads i spoke to,refering to the def speed i was told there alot faster than last year,i will say this im not impressed so far what i have seen, cole and lejeune better fire the others up like ray lewis did as def leader, they might not be as good as last year on def,i guess friday will tell all,so i dont know,i know one thing the db,s are going to have to start looking back at ball when in covrage, there gonna get called pass int on them every time and get burnt,i just hope them scrimmages meant nothing like bf said, thats what came out his mouth i heard it,he was trying to see where every one needed to be and find weakness,he said we wasnt trying to win that wasnt the goal,he said that believe it or not,so hell idk whats going to happen, tell me what you think!

My biggest takeaway from all this is that the boys have to play mentally sound within their individual responsibilities and MAKE THE TACKLE. They don't have the overall talent and speed to match teams that have it on the outside. I do not know how they did last year but I did watch a few highlights from last season, specifically the WOS and NED games. The themes I saw from those games were horrendous tackling and early interceptions. On many an occasion you can see opposing players make the first guy miss or break the tackle or tackles for extra yardage or a score. On the other side, I saw a few interceptions, some on the QB, others on the blocking. You will not win games like that. They will have to execute on both sides. Even if they cant run with the guys on the outside, at least be able to bring him down. Nothing wrong with textbook football.

That was by no means a knock on JR... I thought he should have had several offers.... Just know the knock on him was the 4.9 40 time... I thought after he torched Tony Brown he should have at least had a shot from Lamar....

He went to Southeastern out here in Louisiana for football then transferred back to Lamar after a few issues. I thought he was going to start playing there as they offered a lil sumthin sumthin to him. I just have not spoken to him to figure what the hell happened. From what I know, he still lives back home but I could be wrong because I haven't spoken to him since he visited New Orleans last year.
