The "decent d" reference was because we have 9 returning starters, so basically the same defense that put a stop to Vidor's infamous run game last year, and we did the same thing that yall did to Calvin Tyler last year, except he played with a dual threat qb that was actually utilized.  i guess BC has reason to be optimistic, just not this game here. Just dont have the athletes to match up. WO-S is also disciplined and experienced in addition to being talented. If you don't check off those 3 boxes, no chance to beat them no matter how much hope or heart you have. i believe its as simple as that.

Am I the only one not sold on McZeal? Someone with those intangibles should be dominant against many of the secondaries we face. Maybe it is just early in the season.
