Knowing Livingston they will wait, and wait, and wait......
Hard for a new coach to come in to that situation so late

Looks like hiring an athletic director may be on the agenda tonight.
-
When do interview start? I'd think they would try to make a hire before school gets out. But maybe not.
-
From googling it looks like this superintendent got there in 2017. So different guy than when Barbay was there, right?
-
Coldspring is open with Byrd going to Whitney.
-
Wonder how quickly they will move on this with school winding down
-
Any news out of Trinity?
-
Don't think he got another head coaching job. Haven't heard much since the week the job was posted. Figured they would have started interviews by now but not sure they have.

Hearing Brandon Craus is coming back as the OC?
Any truth to this?
Saw a guy commenting on Matt Stepps Twitter the other day, giving hints that Groveton was going to open.

Someone else quotes the same post and asked if he got another job, another quotes and says give us the reason. But me saying, so he left on his own is considered "pestering". Lol.

And if someone has that information, fine. But you keep pestering a poster who has mentioned on multiple occasions he does not know whether or not Droddy left on his own accord.
He doesn't know and repeatedly asking him if he knows ain't gonna change that.
Lol. No, I and several others replied to a post that made it sound like he did know. You can go back and find the last one I and several others quoted him in that said "there's a reason the hometown hero left " implying he knew. If he'd have said "what's the reason, got to be a reason" etc, no one would have asked him another thing. Relax man.

The people who are applying for this job know the following: Trinity was 6-15 over the last two years and that the coach that they are applying to replace is out the door two years after he took over. I think that should be enough to have an applying coach be eyes wide open to the fact that he is probably not going to enter into an ideal situation
I hear what you'e saying. But isn't the whole point of these type message boards to learn information on job openings, schools, etc this time of year?

Does it really matter on whose volition he left?
It would to a coach looking at applying. He was a hometown guy. Coming back home. If he left on his own after only 2 years, it reads there are admin problems, lack of athletes, etc. If was let go, that's a whole different story.

Not beating Crockett.
Crockett started a ton of Sophomores and still beat Trinity last year. Trinity may be improved next season but so will Crockett.
There is a reason the "hometown Hero" left people.
You didn't say guess in this post (hence the one I quoted you in).. you said "there is a reason the hometown hero left people " that implied to several of us that you were saying he left on his own.

Give us the reason sport!

-

I know for a fact that the Wilson coach was told that he had to keep either keep Taylor or Nelson on staff as a coordinator. I don't think it was both but at least one of them. He was also told that he needed to win state next year and he started laughing. That's how that interview went. They were not trying to really hire that guy, just going through the process to appease everyone else. After that interview, they tried to get him to come back for a 2nd interview and sent in an e-mail requesting that his name be removed from the list of candidates.
Lol. Wow..I would say in unbelievable, but seems like it's not that far out of the norm.

If they can't bring their own coordinators, not many would want the job.
But, have they been specialty told that or just that everyone will be retained? That could mean they have a job, but now instead of being the OC you're coaching the freshman B team..
If they can't atleast bring their own coordinators, you might as well just hire from within the district and move on.
-
Should be lots of interest in this job
-
Makes sense it would be him with his ties to GR.
-
Good hire for Giddings
-
Katy went outside the districtand hired the Fort Bend Ridge Point DC.
-
Not Southeast Texas, but anyone know how the hiring process is going in Giddings?
Trinity is Open

Is that official? Been trying to figure that out, but couldn't find it anywhere.
