I'm in favor of the replay in the championship game, but not beyond it.
I share ECBucFan's concern about a slippery slope.  I only wonder how long the UIL and its member schools will agree to play one game by one set of rules and the remainder of games by another. 
If all schools had the technology to do so, then the fear of expansion of replay would not be a problem.  However, because of budget constraints, most of the schools in the area are currently unable to upgrade to facilities many feel are necessary to compete and probably will not be able to do so anytime soon.  How do we think we think that schools can afford replay quality video equipment which will ultimately be mandated by the UIL?
And we know that they will ultimately mandate it.

Bisd school board meeting just adjourned no announcement made about The "U" head basketball position. They did approve funds for new gym floors at The "U" $127K and Westbrook $123K...

You may want to use a bit more discretion as to what topics and folks you make fun of.  I know you feel that is your niche here, but it is wearing old fast and such comments in topics like this where coaches are getting together to discuss their responsibility to the young men of this area and your jokes about the body sizes of the coaches only accelerates that wear.

I get it they want the big name some of these guys making  decisions are company guys well dressed politicians they don’t want backlash from a fair weather community who barely supports anything anyways . A lot of ppl complain but the attendance for education as well as sports are low from the community.and it’s not everyone but it what it is . No disrespect to anyone but I’m tired of seeing the coaching carousel revolve around old coaches, you have quality young coaches who can get it done if they had the type of support some are giving to these old heads. But hey who am I just a guy on the outside looking in and if they choose wrongly some of these parents and kids are jumping ship. 

Badsanta with just a complaint but no solution.  Go figure.  My guy should be on there, but I can't tell you who to take off?  As with ALL lists, there are those who don't quite make it that feel slighted.  Such is life.  

Talked with Coach Tammy Brown-(Ozen) at 3:10 pm today the rumor that she'll retire or not seek the Head Coach Position at United  if Tony Brown gets drafted is absolutely Not True. She is an active applicant for the position.  

Boutte didn’t have to apply.  They came to him, he turned it down. Not sure who will get it, I only know 4-5 guys on this list. Should be interesting to see how this turns out.

Good Job Mr Louis, guess Dad will have to find another pal to watch and analyze the games with this year. It was always very interesting to hear his perspective on the games and of Roschon. Real coach and man. Here's to his success.

Waiting on official word from BISD. But in the meantime, all four are on the initial list I put out last week. Only two are current head coaches.

Great season Ozen Panthers you guys fought hard to the end .Coaches you did a terrific job of preparing all of these guys to play this season
