Marcus Morris of HF should have a good year; he is a Sr. as well as a 3 year starter at QB for the HORNS.

HF has struggled in the passing game; QB is having trouble with accuracy but definitely has the arm. We have to get the passing game going otherwise Liberty will try to make us one dimensional and that is not good. Going to be a good game as this is only our second home game and HF fans will pack the stands, I expect a loud and spirited environment. With that said:

I am totally clueless now; I heard last night the Varsity & JV will travel to Houston Waltrip for a scrimmage on Saturday morning 08-18-18?

This was truly an entertaining game... these two teams battled back and forth all night. I thought Kelly was going to pull ahead in the 3rd qtr, but HF defense rose up and made a key stop that allowed HF to get back in it and win it. HF's coaches finally unleashed #24 and he pounded the rock all night, not sure of his stats but they had to be impressive. Good Luck to both teams this week, especially the Horns as they got WOS.

Buna just gave HF a good old fashion butt whipping; HF's Offensive and Defensive lines got man handled. The Horns just played flat the whole game and when we did something good we would turn around and shoot ourselves in the foot. Heck even the HF fan base was not up for the game like they were for Lumberton & EC. Maybe the Horns are little overrated and Buna was underrated? I would like to think the Horns were just tired and weren't used to being back in school; especially after the emotional high they just came off of from beating EC. That is what you get with a young team; I think HF has like 6-7 Soph & 1 Fresh starting on offense and defense. Good luck to both squads this week.

Yup... I think the game will be more like last years with the winning team being who ever has the ball last. HF is much more disciplined and mature then last year, they keep playing until the last second ticks off the clock. As is in the recent past EC is probably the better team overall but this is a rivalry game so anything can happen, I will take the Horns in an upset:

Sounded like a good scrimmage for all 3 squads... glad they got it in before all of the bad weather hit.

drich... do the Horns looked improved from last year? They have real tough schedule again this year, I am hoping for more than just one victory. 

Yup... that boy is a straight up gamer; I have not seen anybody that can run bases like this young man, he has got some wheels.

I wonder why HF agreed on two away scrimmages... fans would like to see what we have without having to travel so far for just a scrimmage?

Sounds like a good first scrimmage for HF... who do they have this week, I could not find anything on the schedules that I saw?
