Give me a young and hungry team like Silsbee any day the tigers felt they should have beat Cuero last that fumble at the Cuero 30 late in the game ended their chance to go to the title game could have been the game winning score Silsbee hasn’t forgotten about that now that they are here again i say Silsbee will be very hard to beat they are not even thinking about Greenwood or PG or going to Jerry’s World for the first time Tigers are focused on the Texans plus it helps that they played at Legacy stadium last year the hey are very familiar with that Beautiful Stadium.

Don’t forget the only reason Silsbee was back in the game was Cuero turnovers so it goes both ways... the better team won

  2. Don’t take the Texans lightly they have a good team. The key is their QB when he’s on look out and he can scramble to pick up yards too. I believe the reason they lost to Navarro is he went down to an injury they were up 14-0 and it was all downhill from there. Cuero beat them using the qb draw they had no answer but at the end of the season we started figuring things out with our young team so don’t let the Cuero w/l record fool you we were legit at the end of the season and beat them head up. If the weather is good I see Wimberley winning by 7-14 points but if the weather is affecting the passing game I see Silsbee taking this on by the same amount .

Silsbee had 3 team captains at coin flip.  Maybe 4.  3 shook hands, one didn't and u told some neighboring fans that.  But it looks like he tried to and the Cuero captain didn't see him, so he just walked away without looking back.  I don't think it was a malicious act, just like one of those boom boom things...

Now the taking a knee was a problem.  I know you just made a huge play, but you gotta take that knee, wherever you are.

Sorry but I just watched the game again and one of the captains for Silsbee seemed to be the leader and stopped one of the Silsbee captains from shaking hands and turned him away. The others followed suit. No big deal but this isn’t pro football and kids at that age should  show respect and sportsmanship from the get go especially if you are a team captain and setting the example.

  4. Good game Tigers both teams played their hearts out and Cuero pulling it out at the end. A couple things I question though. 1. Why did your team captains all walk away without shaking hands when Cuero tried too? Is that normal for you guys? 2. If you notice when one of your guys got hurt Cuero went straight to a knee. I know this is not a rule or anything but a show of sportsmanship. When our guys went down your players went straight over to the sideline like it was a timeout. Like I said I know this isn’t a rule but a show of class/sportsmanship. Good luck to you guys next year you have one hell of a team

  5. Cuero has been to the semi’s 17 times counting this game and are 10-6 in those games. These kids grow up knowing what’s expected when they put on that uniform and destiny can be put on this Cuero team just like it can for Silsbee. This game should be a good one with both teams riding winning streaks and bringing a lot of confidence into his one. I think turnovers are going to factor into who wins and my prediction ... homer style Cuero 42- Silsbee 28.

Ol Lightfoot and co. Probably gonna be licking their chops...

Lol our OL took second at state in the lineman’s challenge ... strength and agility. I really do hope y’all go in thinking you’re going to dominate at the line. Our kids show sportsmanship and will help your guys up after pancaking them lol
