Man, Silsbee did not look very good last night. They left 20 + points on the board. Not taking anything away from Central they are a very talented team, but Silsbee should have easily won by double-digits. It take time though. There are a few new faces this year that will contribute on a nightly basis, and those guys haven't hit their groove with the team yet. IMO, Adams is the X-Factor. When he gets on a roll, watch out. Silsbee is going to be very hard to beat.

Well, he also said in a previous thread, that the best player for Sabine Pass was the Jones kid and Bean was the one with the D1 offer. So the best player isn't even the D1 prospect in Spiders opinion. So, with 2 D1 talents, SP can't beat Warren or HF. Makes sense.

It is an unfortunate situation. Coach Flanigan is a quality guy, as well as a quality coach. What he did was wrong and he should have been able to realize that before making that mistake. There are other way to go about catching a thief (I'm assuming whoever did it will get a just punishment, not just involving the school, but the law). However, I hope this does not cost him his job. The intent was obvious, and it was not malicious. Before anybody says it, I know players change in the locker room, and no, I wouldn't want my child on camera changing. But, I also can see where his heart and intentions were, and would hope to see his job spared.

Newton should be fine. I have seen two score favorites lose a time or two though. Stay focused, stay hungry, and the game will play out like it should. Good Luck Eagles

The program is on the rise. A freshman QB has been better than anyone on that roster since McCoy. Next year I'm sure he will be even better. The defense giving up 40 a game is what has to change. Herman and company allowed 40 to Memphis. How is your brilliant analysis on that. If you loved Houston as you loved UT, how do you think you would feel about Herman after losing to Navy, SMU, and Memphis. Wouldn't you want his job? Hashtags are still for kids man.
