Just my musings over a team I wanna see make a run to state from the 409. You don’t agree they have state level talent every year?

I’m more interested to see if PAM can pull it together this year and make a run at state, like they should be doing every year. Remove the political corruption, keep the kids interested in school and bolster the program. You’re telling me with a national level track team Jamaal is the last one to go to the league? I ain’t buying it, no doubt it’s been a leadership issue so the kids aren’t to blame. Let’s see if they make a run to state, imo they should be keeping Aledo on its toes year in and year out. Too much speed and talent to not be. Just my .02

Doesn’t matter to us lol we won DC’s against the bigger richer schools. Now I wish the Ned 2012 team had this breakdown for sure. Every time we lost in the playoffs it was to a team moving up to 6A the next year and they always would contend for state. Hammered the bigger ones in the 6A now (Porter, New Caney)

This was one wack season, the pick ems in this district had to be tough. Like you have Nederland getting blow out by BH but then BH almost losing to Dayton….and then BH and Crosby going to the wire….one of the weirder seasons for sure.

Most teams aren’t as run heavy though, when you run 99% of the time you can expect more fumbles, also the offense probably can recover a lot of those because they’re so used to running. Quick to run also quick to jump on a loose ball. Just a thought.

I came over to see it if was getting close. The Nederland game was a nail bitter. Vidor is the only other team that’s played Silsbee that we can compare against. Wondered if Vidor kept the W streak alive. I see they did.

I mean I assume even a 7 year old could choose between those two scenarios…… when your team gets a bad flag I’m assuming you hold on to it all game?
