Once the politics are over I believe Nederland will be back in the usual mix of things, maybe even claim another DC before the decade is over, having over half of a decades DCs would be nice. But that's just my opinion

My bulldogs got hammered by GR but after I saw the state title score, didn't feel so bad about only hanging 30 points on the state champs. Agree or not I believe it came down to solid coaching, yes we got spanked but geez it was only the second round of the playoffs and was able to post some TDs, not get shutout of the state game lol

If they go 34-0 in district then I'll be impressed. It's not like they played a full on Nederland team and they escaped PNG. Years to come will get tougher but.....we shall see

I personally like out of state competition. Like Katy vs Bellevue and south anchorage vs Stephenville and whatnot. Only thing that annoys me is when another state brings their best and wants to play our average and when the out of state wins (usually by a FG or TD) they act like they took down the whole state

Soulija, your "we need a new coach theory" has been well proven, central has always had loads of talent, but it can't seem to converted on the field these last couple years, you seen how fast the game last week went from 21-6 ned to a tie ball game, I hope central staff gets it figured out, I always look to pull for them in playoffs. I pulled hard for them in 2014 when they were overflowing with talent.

Vidor has this one by ease, say what you want about the ineligibility but Nederland slaughtered Livingston and vidor got out of ned with a W ( under different circumstances but a W is a W) vidor ought to run them smooth out. 49-21 vidor wins.

Believe me I watched it a couple weeks ago, tackling the vidor backs is a three step process, hit,wrap and then drive them down. I hope they take down PAM personally. Won't make that one point loss in OT seem so bad lol

Well, I wondered how vidor would fare against a fully loaded offense. If they play like they did in the first half against PNG then the Vidor/PAM game will be interesting. Maybe playing PNG first was the ticket to JM preparing against PAM?

I will be following this game as much as I will ned/central. I'm curious to see how vidor does against a fully loaded offense, they haven't faced one yet. The same token though I wanna see how PNG does against that hard running game. And yes I know history says vidors slot T hasn't been very effective in the past (with the exception of the 2012 team, that year was tough though seems every team in our district was salty) but I promise you it's a much harder battering ram behind it now. PNG better hit hold and drive the running game down. I really can't wait to see the outcome, oh and just a note, vidor discovered throwing the ball and that can bite you in the butt PNG if y'all don't watch it. As for vidor the PNG air game can be poison. Ready for the showdown!

Sitting here hoping for the best,wishing we had a full squad and remembering the 2011-2015 seasons. It's all we've got to hang on to. Oh and hoping for another MCM win.

I guess cause pa has gotten a taste of winning in their mouth so they can't handle it, when your use to it five years straight you can act classy. Vidor is winning for the first time in a while and we are all happy for them and plan on supporting them through playoffs and they are keeping a classy act about it. It's what this district does for each other. Hard to do that for someone who thinks they own the place the first year they show up, especially when they couldn't get it done in their last district.
