  1. I don't think big brother would be riding a 6 game MCM loss.
  2. Okay true, yalls year was 2011 I guess i was referring to the teams that made playoffs. Wasn't it a sweep for our district first round in 2012?
  3. I will be following this game as much as I will ned/central. I'm curious to see how vidor does against a fully loaded offense, they haven't faced one yet. The same token though I wanna see how PNG does against that hard running game. And yes I know history says vidors slot T hasn't been very effective in the past (with the exception of the 2012 team, that year was tough though seems every team in our district was salty) but I promise you it's a much harder battering ram behind it now. PNG better hit hold and drive the running game down. I really can't wait to see the outcome, oh and just a note, vidor discovered throwing the ball and that can bite you in the butt PNG if y'all don't watch it. As for vidor the PNG air game can be poison. Ready for the showdown!
  4. Sitting here hoping for the best, wishing we had a full squad and remembering the 2011-2015 seasons. It's all we've got to hang on to. Oh and hoping for another MCM win.
  5. I guess cause pa has gotten a taste of winning in their mouth so they can't handle it, when your use to it five years straight you can act classy. Vidor is winning for the first time in a while and we are all happy for them and plan on supporting them through playoffs and they are keeping a classy act about it. It's what this district does for each other. Hard to do that for someone who thinks they own the place the first year they show up, especially when they couldn't get it done in their last district.
  6. Out of all those names how could you forget micha Mosley. Boy could run
  7. Believe me no one can stand PA either. Wonderful city, 55K residents and they have as much students with a city of 18K.
  8. I think the Indians will scalp em. I think this will be vidors first test against a full out 1st string loaded team. PNG better figure out that run game though, or it'll drive them all night, oh and watch those surprise passes, they happening more often
  9. I thought I was reading earlier from titan fans that memorial was getting out coached, the talent came into play obviously and memorial is fast and quick and strong, can't tell you how many times I heard xbox can't coach is way out of paper bag , so as I said that will be their downfall if they go head to head with a team just as fast, quick and strong. That being said you have to agree memorial is highly highly talented, but they lack in the coaching department. Imagine if they had LN coaching them, you can't say you think they wouldn't be even more loaded than they are right now
  10. Well said, finally a decent post from a titan fan. I will be following memorial as they go through the playoffs, I'm ready to see how they handle some tough 5A teams. I'm afraid though it's the lack of good coaching that will be their downfall (if they get knocked out) I'm actually glad memorial came to 22-5a, the district was kinda weak so some fresh talent is rep us well during playoff season
  11. They also benefited from talent those years. You don't get five DCs and go three rounds deep (2011) and four rounds deep (2012) cause you have no talent. I will say though we did benefit from numbskull choaching in 2014 when central was loaded and Ned pulled the win out. I think it was 2014 at least, whatever year we won by 39-36.
  12. Actually that is true the way this year is going. Vidor breaks a 35 year losing streak, central may get a win on ned since 2010 and PNG might break their streak also. The only thing we bulldogs are holding on to is at least it's losing streaks that are getting broken
  13. Central and ozen "beatings" are unlikely.
  14. From what I hear fisher has some glue on his hands tonight
  15. That was a good year for all those teams. Nederland 2011&2012 was a solid team also. The DC those years wasn't a walk in the park for the dogs.
  16. I think vidor loses to PNG and PAM, maybe even lumberton ( feel kinda crazy saying that) and the ONLY reason I say that is vidors running game will hammer you at the beginning, once you figure it out then you have a fighting chance, but can lumberton figure it out is the question. I think PNG and PAM have the W though, vidor plays tough but PNG and PAM are healthy and vidor played a hurt Ned team and escaped with a W by one. I don't think that kind of playing will get a W against such a high octane offense as PNG and PAM.....HOWEVER.....tell that to everyone who THOUGHT they had the district figured out, with this wild year anything seems possible
  17. Lol play till the whistle blows! That's what I always heard
  18. Lol the only part of that article I like is the 5 time defending champions. This district is up for grabs, crazy year this year
  19. It was time for the win, bulldog fans just have to wait till LN is playing with a full deck of cards again and hopefully the race for the DC isn't out of reach yet. We know we have a hard running RB coming back next week and who knows about the QB but maybe it's something we can look forward to. We've got a lot of football left to play.
  20. Yeah lol they are 0-4, didn't they go to state a couple times and win in 2014? Total game changer, I know they are having trouble getting use to the losses
  21. I'll admit it's tough but you have to, like I said earlier most bulldogs are use to winning, heck I graduated from Ned in 2014 and as far as district was concerned all we knew was W's, but times change you can't win them all, a loss has to come. No one has it worse then Navasota when it comes to swallowing losing, they've gone from hero to zero, if one team won all the time it wouldn't be fun. Gotta take the blows as the come I suppose. And you must respect the other team. I personally hold Matthews in high respect, I'd love it if he joined the Ned staff, LN would love it also.
  22. Oh lol I was like dadgum the UIL is all over our district
  23. What happened?
  24. Is lumberton having UIL issues?
  25. Hey hey that wasn't me. however being "recent" grad of ned, bulldogs can be sore losers, you gotta think, we were use to dominating district, 5 DC is impressive you have to admit and 34 straight district wins, so it's hard for them to swallow a loss. I choose to enjoy the games and not get all caught up in the emotions. Not a way to live life. Vidor has a hard hard running team and people gotta use to another teams turn to win and take DC, does that make any sense? Vidor isn't the same team you can write off anymore, they will have a successful season no doubt.great W pirates
